Liverpool’s Interest In Fulham’s Antonee Robinson Persists.

The USA national team player has featured in nearly all of Fulham’s Premier League games in the 2023-24 season, contributing four assists from the left-back position.
Robinson leads in interceptions among English top-flight players, with 58 interceptions so far, surpassing Everton’s James Tarkowski by 18. Since joining Fulham from Wigan Athletic in August 2020, he has played 136 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool, who are vying for the title, are still considering signing Robinson for the 2024-25 season, marking the start of a new era without Jurgen Klopp. The report indicates that Liverpool has been impressed by Robinson’s performance metrics, particularly his progressive passes and runs in the Premier League.
Liverpool reportedly made inquiries about Robinson before the January transfer window, although they did not pursue his signing further.
Klopp has faced limited options on the left side of defense this season, with both Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas sidelined for periods. Robertson returned from a shoulder injury recently, while Gomez, primarily a center-back, deputized in the full-back position.
Robinson extended his contract with Fulham until 2028 before the current season. Liverpool eliminated Fulham from the EFL Cup semi-finals last month, keeping their hopes alive for multiple major honors. Despite a 3-1 loss to Arsenal, Liverpool remains at the top of the Premier League table, their first domestic defeat since late September.
