  1. Why doesn’t kudus play in paquetas position in that number 10 role. That’s his ORIGINAL ROLE, kudus is not actually a winger anyway. He is also very creative, maybe not as much as Paqueta, but enough to be a great playmaker also.

  2. It's utter bollocks we have to rely on one man. Sort it out Sullivan and get us a gaffer who can deliver more than a one man team. Mind you, I'd conjecture that Areola is the main man. It's him and him alone as the reason why we've flattered to deceive in the Premier League this season. He even pulled off a worldie yesterday whilst potentially concussed.

  3. Not sure we are one man team with Paqueta, more a case of you can only get away with it so long by using players out of position & getting results. Seen other comments on this, but while both Bowen & Kudas are best as attacking right wingers, neither getting to do this. Yes, they can do good jobs elsewhere, but lack of proper forward or left winger means unbalanced team going sideways / backwards, as not lot up front. Once Paqueta is fit Moyes mindset has to change, as present set-up & personnel not working.

  4. I'm not saying we're a one-man team, but God, Paqueta is the missing piece of the puzzle that made us such a well-oiled machine. What stands out the most to me is how crucial Paqueta is for Bowen's performance. Bowen was in outstanding form mostly due to the partnership he had with Paqueta, but it seems to have vanished because no one else is able to replicate it. Kudus and Bowen's runs were often assisted by Paqueta's through balls, but now that he's absent, we've lost one of our crucial strengths. This was a part of the puzzle where we looked strong, and now we appear toothless. I won't even mention his link up with Emerson, and how much weaker we are on the left side. We need to consider two things: a) keeping Paqueta for as long as possible, and b) reevaluating Moyes' tactical skills without our Brazilian magnifico. It is getting more and more clear that our success has been due to our players' brilliance rather than the tactics themselves, and to back that up it was said that "Paqueta isn't coachable," indicating some serious issues within our team.

  5. Moyes isn’t a good manager or coach whatever you call it … Football 101 you have your 1st 11 by position then your 2nd 11 by positions when you look at it it’s makes no sense it’s always been unbalanced it’s basics … You used the word understudy that’s where the academy players fill in the spots and seasoned professionals … Moyes is worst manager in the Prem by far … This whole contract thing is a joke take care of the contract in sumner he knows no other Prem teams will hire him not even Crystal Palace there fanbase are pissed of to with the club lack of direction … MOYES OUT … MOYES STAYS STIEDTEN IS OUT REALLY CANT BLAME HIM 🤦🏾‍♂️

  6. Pathetic with the amount spent and we're having to rely on 1/2 certain players rather than the majority of the squad? This is all on Moyes and the way he wants to play it's madness and stupidity compared to most clubs? If that wanker Sullivan gives the dinosaur a new contract before the end of the season before seeing how far we drop off then I'm gonna stop watching the matches and I imagine a lot of fans feel that way too. Moyes out.

  7. It’s also funny how all the Moyes in people are saying “Are you happy now, you got what you wanted as we played football.”

Why would I be happy with a 3-0 loss? Yes we tried to play but that’s because Man United knew we only have one way of playing and sat back. And yes, I want to see us playing football but not with Moyes as a manager because he can’t do that effectively, hence the reason so many want him out.

  8. We’re far more dependent on Paqueta than we were on Payet. Iirc, when Payet was out for 2 or 3 months, we didn’t lose, or maybe lost 1. We didn’t win either, but we didn’t lose.

Re: everything else you said, while Moyes likes to keep a trim squad, I’d wager he’s just following his boss’s remit, which is keep the spending and wages as tight as possible, use what you have, keep us in the league. Moyes is a good manager if you’re his employer. He exceeds the standards. And, he isn’t concerned about the outside noise from the fans. Even now he refers to his home of 4 years as “they” or West Ham”, never “us”. And he always refers to the supporters as “they” or “them”, never “us”. So while he’s certainly responsible for some of being shorthanded in backup talent, I assign the majority of that to, per usual, the dingus who owns the club.

  9. Not even lack of investment in the transfer window. How about investing time in your existing squad.
Talking of lack of creativity, I remember a few seasons ago we had this great little player who was capable of creating chances for others. He was a little bit tricky (albeit not Paqueta standards), dynamic, capable of threading clinical through balls for players to run onto, as well as scoring goals himself. I think his name was Fornals, or something. Wonder what happened to him?

  10. If West Ham’s best player is the play maker then our opponents will try to rough him up and these days referees ..don’t protect £ 100000000.00 properties .

  11. Too many knee jerk reactions to yesterday's result. Yeah we lost but we to some degree played better than of late and manu were flattered by the scoreline. However there were undoubtedly some below par performances (yeah really poor at the back) but there are positives. Max Cornet is going to get minutes. Ben Johnson is proving to be very capable indeed and Antonio and Paqueta are returning. So I'll wait until the end of Feb before passing judgement bar saying getting rid of Kerher was a disastrous decision!!

  12. When Bowen wastes his energy running around and gets knocked about by centre half’s and when Bowen chances come late in the game he won’t be able to take his chance.⚒⚒⚒

  13. Moyes out! Not being funny but wouldn’t cornet be better on the wing than Johnson? The whole thing is a joke the team set up the whole defend defend defend. I’m sick of passing back passing to the side then passing back again there is no progressive forward passing football. Even agurd ain’t putting the ball down the pitch like he use to setting up Bowen to run in. I just hope Sullivan does the right thing and does not hand moyes a contract because I’m rapidly falling out of love with West Ham it’s got to the point I got no arguments or no response when my spud mates take the piss 🤣

  14. Great summary up Gonzo. Surely the clown can’t think I’ll Nick one every game……. It’s no good nicking one when you’re 3-0 down but this is clown 🤡 Moyes COYIs 👍🏻⚒🤜🏻

  15. You say David Moyes could put the argument about him to bed by getting a fourth season in Europe; The first one was the most enjoyable for me, getting to the semis of the Europa, a cup that people actually respect with Decs as captain and some really decent performances. It was great getting some silverware in the cabinet last season but some of the performances were pretty shocking against really awful sides and we only won the final due to one moment of brilliance from Paqueta and Bowen. I don’t think we’ll progress beyond the round coming with our current form now other stronger teams have dropped down from the Champions League. So in a worst/best case scenario, we go out of the Europa in a few weeks time but we qualify for Europe again next season have we actually made any progress? To really really put the argument to bed, we’re gonna have to get to the final of the tournament this year if not win it AND qualify for Europe next season, otherwise we’re just gonna become the new Everton. And who the f_<k wants that!
