McKennie is probably the best if you're going by league performances, but I'd argue that Dest is our best playing for USMNT. He's been an absolute beast every time he's in the lineup.
What separates them is mental strength and attitude or approach. McKennie isn’t gonna just be nice and accept losing his spot. Pulisic has struggled with this. He needs to more demanding and less accommodating. He’s let several players waltz in and take his spot. Being a good teammate is important but he needs to be more of an alpha and he just isn’t

Pulisic and Mckennie debate is like Donovan and Dempsey debate. They are all great 1-2 punch
used to think mckennie and adams are on similar level of talent technically. both are combative but adams oh boy he cant pass a ketchup bottle, he doesnt know how to pass 10 yards, he’s like a more mobile version of lee cattermole. take a yellow and go home.

To me Pulisic is an amazing talent and creates as well as anyone. He needs to improve his shooting technique which would add much to his game. Rarely does he crush a shot from outside the box
