Tuchel is one of the best coaches in world football, he knows exactly what he is doing. Just remember rüdiger at chelsea, he was not even in the squad even in the stands sometimes and EVERY single chelsea fan was booing him and everyone wanted to get rid of him. Tuchel came in and rüdiger became one of the best defenders in world football with a big part in winning the ucl. Now scoring goals for madrid. I believe in one of the biggest clubs in world football like bayern with tuchel as coach, dier will change dramaticaly for the better because dier isnt a bad player per se.
What a result for Eric dier. Doubt he could get top club in the prem now.

Word thing why Dier as when ever he played right back for us I felt played well and was solid CM but seemed to want to prefer play centre back where he always seemed to get caught out and seemed like weakest position

Dier is a decent player has 49 caps for the national team and has played 274 premier league games.
Was a CL finalist in 2019.
He is short of a yard or two of pace and that's it, all other aspects of his game are solid. He played about half of his caps in midfield so he isn't some donkey.

Dier did have a couple of good seasons at CDM but was never good enough to be a CB. Poch always said that and it's crazy that 5 years later he's still here. Ange preferring to play 2 fullbacks there says it all.

1. Eric Dier is kind of slacking off on defense, just passing the buck to teammates and yelling instructions.
2. It's like he's treating the ball as a ticking time bomb, passing it to a teammate in a tight spot and sometimes sending his teammate to the hospital.
3. The team ends up hurting because, instead of tackling, he prefers standing with his arms crossed behind his back, defending with just his eyes.
4. Occasionally, he ends up giving the opposing team a hand by making inaccurate passes right in front of our own goal.
