Bayern Munich has completed the signing of right-back Sacha Boey from Galatasaray. The 23-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Bundesliga club. Boey expressed his excitement about joining Bayern, stating that it is a dream come true for him. Bayern’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, praised Boey’s qualities, highlighting his speed, physical strength, and defensive abilities. Bayern Munich was in need of a right-back due to Noussair Mazraoui’s injury and Africa Cup of Nations commitments, leading midfielder Konrad Laimer to fill in. The club considered other options, including Kieran Trippier from Newcastle United and Nordi Mukiele from Paris Saint-Germain, but negotiations proved challenging. Boey has previously played for Rennes and Dijon and has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
