Last year was a contract year for Marcus, and look at the player we got. This is the first year of a massive contract, and look at who showed up. One only has to observe body language, stats or his behavior. Rashford could not give a damn about Man U, but merely a coin operated, badge kissing, big-time Charlie who is flattered by his press and quite clearly reads it.

Rashford is stealing his huge wages every week. Can't sell him as who would buy him and pay the wages. The usual United problem. The answer is to have a maximum wage and big bonuses for winning stuff, like in real life. £250k pw max and you'd have to be exceptional to get that and a bonus structure to incentivise the players. Sancho, Martial etc knew they would be paid whatever.
