🚨 Breaking Transfer News: West Ham Close to Signing Kalvin Phillips! 📰⚽

In a sensational turn of events, West Ham United appears to be on the verge of securing a deal for Manchester City and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips. The transfer saga has unfolded into a tug of war between manager David Moyes, who is eager to bring Phillips onboard, and Hammers Director of Football Tim Steidten, who reportedly has reservations about the signing.

🤝 Talks between the clubs are currently centered around the conditions of this potential deal. According to Sky Sports News, West Ham is one of six clubs expressing interest in Phillips, with Crystal Palace and Newcastle also making contact with City during the January transfer window. Notably, European giants Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus have also thrown their hats into the ring.

💼 Pep Guardiola’s December admission that Phillips is free to leave for regular football has triggered a flurry of interest. While City is inclined to sell the talented England international, a loan move could be a viable option. The reported terms include a £7 million loan fee and weekly wages amounting to £135,000.

  1. If we let Moyes get Phillips it will be martial next and then the rest of the Man Utd cast offs so let Steidten do his thing and sign the jems out there like Fofana of Monaco

  2. JWP and Paqueta are the creative midfielders imho but we cannot function without a defensive midfielder and Phillips is a requirement we urgently need in case Alvarez gets crocked.

  3. A couple years ago he was arguably englands best player at the euros and was on par with dec in the midfield, he’s also been soaking up whatever they feed the players at city. Pleased with this

  4. Dare I say it could be another JLingz for us, I’m sure that Phillips is desperate for game time and could feel that he has a lot to prove the downside for me is if we land Phillips Man City would hold leverage over a deal for Paqueta let’s see how this one pans out. Thanks again Gonzo for great coverage best wishes
