Let's be real, Varane was crap earlier this season. Maguire benching him was his biggest wake-up call yet, and slapped his ego. We still need to cash in on him ASAP, while he still has value. We need to build towards the future. We now also have much fewer midweek games, so you'd assume he doesn't get injured so often but we never know.

Edit: LOL commentator's curse maybe? Varane can't even stay fit for a weekly game now!
