Bruno Fernandes has been, according to most, Manchester United’s best signing in the post Sir Alex Ferguson era. In fact, Bruno Fernandes was even named Manchester United’s captain by Erik ten Hag for the entirety of this campaign. However, his antics, as well as inconsistency, have rubbed up many a Manchester United supporter up the wrong way. This video details the deficiencies in Bruno Fernandes’ game and why no club can harbour hopes of winning the Premier League with him in their 11.

  1. Changed my editing style a bit (and will continue to try and improve on it in the next month or 2). Let me know what you make of that as well as Bruno down below!

  2. He came with huge aspirations but after couple of seasons around players it had gave him that'll do attitude n expect teams to roll over for them. I think he is a player to keep but once he is surrounded by talented players with the mindset, the old Bruno will return. He needs a good hiding in the dressing but players like Keane ain't about now they throw the toys out the pram n complain about 50/50's on the pitch

  3. Nice one UTI
Iโ€™ve always said Fernandes is a terrible role model for children to watch ,the way he behaves when heโ€™s not on the ball is nothing short of despicable and I tell my children thatโ€™s how u should never behave on the pitch.

  4. Honestly, I was stunned when Fernandes was named captain of Man Utd. Regardless of his physical ability, the sight of him pestering referees is cringeworthy. A leader must be a good role model and demonstrate that the way to win is with footballing performance. Bruno, get on with the game.

Uti, it was good of you to point out his strengths, and I especially liked the mention of his beautiful family. That was class.

    Cheers,
    Dandelion Down

[By the way, who do you think should be captain of Man Utd?]

  5. on the editing: the zooms on every image is a little disorienting and the effect becomes less impactful if you overuse it. great video and hoping for a successful 2024 for the channel

  6. Hate is a pritty strong word to be honest.. only bitter people or terrorist hate … cause they don't have heart . most of us are angry and disappointed with bruno

  7. WITHOUT EVEN LISTENING, THE FACT THAT YOU START WITH HATE AS OPPOSED TO DISLIKE INDICATES LOW LEVEL THINKING. CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICISE BY ALL MEANS, BUT JUST LIKE WITH RASHDORD OR ONANA, BRUNO FERNANDES DOES NOT DESERVE THE HATE OF ANY UNITED FAN. IT'S TWATS LIKE YOURSELF THAT BRING THE TOXICITY TO THE FANBASE AND ENSURE FAN DIVISION, WHILST THE CLAZERS AND OPPO FANS TAKE THE PISS!

  8. I can understand your frustration with this player. He allows his own Ill discipline to detract from his undoubted talent. That to me translates as a straight forward lack of professionalism. That said, as a Forest fan and maybe looking at this from a different angle. In the recent game with United. Whilst Anthony could have been left on his Todd all night with no detrimental effect to us,it was always Fernandez I was twitchy about once he got on the ball. If Ten Hag is such a discipline orientated manager how come he canโ€™t sort this little fella out? I think Cloughie or Fergie would have taken all of ten minutes to achieve that.

  9. Fernandes epitomises everything i hate about modern day footballers.Constantly appealing for one thing or another, bemoaning decisions that go against him and the team and putting in bang average performances week in week out, when he should be leading by example and be the standard bearer for whoever the other 10 are.
He's got all the ability in the world, but doesn't channel it in the right way and i pretty much washed my hands of him after that debacle at Anfield last season when he went missing yet again against one of our biggest rivals.
His goal and assist stats have tanked over the last few seasons.
A proper captain would've brought Jadon Sancho to heel months ago and reminded him who he was playing for and the privileged position he was in.
There is zero leadership at Man Utd on or off the pitch and until that changes we will continue to be mired in this embarrassing mess.
