Okay before everyone goes overboard, he didn't object joining Chelsea, he could have stayed in the first team, but he knew he wouldn't get the game time and he'd be undervalued, so he chose to go to Chelsea where he's become, not just one of Chelsea's best players, but one of the best in the league and is proving City wrong.
To be fair I don’t think any young player would want to leave a team coached by Pep Guardiola that man can turn a bog standard footballer into an elite player.
