Chris Wood's job as a striker is to score goals for Forest, which he did – his past at Newcastle did not stop him from scoring against them. Whether he chooses to celebrate or not is up to him.

It’s a weak mindedness that players do this and also supporters who say it’s good that Woods did that. He’s a Forest player now and why downplay their celebration by him not celebrating? So what it’s against the old team? As long as its not OTT Adenayor vs Arsenal, go for it.
Forest have over celebrated this season and conceded right after. It's better to celebrate once the full time whistle is blown and job is done. You can still congratulate your team mates after a goal, but stay humble and don't overdo it.
