I was a right decision Kwasi Appiah took, at that time Asamoah Gyan was out of his form. Asamoah gyan didnt kick any ball for Black Stars since 2017 – 2019. So all the 2019 AFCON qualifiers and 2018 FIFA World cup qualifiers, Asamoah Gyan wasnt included. Is Andre Ayew Captained the team for all these qualification. So it was the right decision Kwasi Appiah made
Just look at the joy he has showed in playing for the team
It was a bad decision on Asamoah Gyan by Kwesi ,So now who will be the Captain because neither Dede or Amartey are in top form or condition to be Captain in this Afcon .Let debate about this also .😂😂😂
I dont know why members of the FA and technical team members of the Black Stars don't learn.
We were unable to win the 1992 Afcon, cause the team was divided between supporters of Akwesi Appiah ( then captain) and Abedi Pele ( Assostant captain)
Unfortunately, Kwasi Appiah ,who suffered the fate repeated the same thing hence bringing division to the team.
He could have maintained Gyan as captain of the team and kept him on the bench if the reasons he is giving for taking the captaincy from Gyan is anything to go by.
The current coach is taking the best decision for not taking the captaincy from Dede.
If we are to go by what kwasi Appiah said, then Dede, shouldn't even be closer to the team currently but the coach knows the importance of a captain in a team, either playing well in his club or not.
Milivan Reajivac , did same for Stephen Appiah @ the 2010, world cup.
Stephen, was injured throughout the qualifiers and was even without club, but the then coach knew the value of having him around the team, so he took him to the world cup.
It is best kwasi Appiah ,stops talking cause the more he talks the more he exposes himself.

I love how Chris Hughton thinks that most of the team that failed against Comoros can compete at an afcon Inaki has been terrible who's going to score the goals? he's only taken three strikers Brandon Thomas-Asante qualifies to also play for Jamaica and is doing well if he played in an afcon he'd permanently be tied to Ghana now Jamaica can still contact him during the tournament it's out of our hands. One more thing taking tactical advice from Otto Addo is as bad as getting into a car whilst Stevie Wonder is driving we all saw his weak squad selections and his nonsense in Qatar he only knows two things Baba Rahman and the Ayew brothers
It's looks like the name Kwesi Appiah irritates u. Ur comments about him in recent times has not been the best. Whether we like it or not he has been the most successful Black Stars coach in the last decade.
We don't appreciate what we have but the Sudanese appreciate him so they have taken him
Let's be honest we need to be more confident with this AFCON compared to last. In 2022 our front attacking options were jordan, andre, and sulemana. This time we actually have goal scoring threats in inaki, semenyo, kudus and all are actually scoring goals in top divisions.
