  1. CORRECTIONS:
    Saka's Real Stats All Comps: 26 Games, 9 Goals, 11 Assists (.85 goals/90)
    Mohammed Salah's Stats: 27 Games, 18 Goals, 9 Assists (1.19 Goals/90)

Tbf, I just screwed up a little bit with the stats. No good excuses, this is my first real analysis like this and there are bound to be some screw-ups.

But honestly, Salah is just in a league of his own. I wasn't excluding him because he isn't good enough, I was just including players who are talented wingers but are also recognized for their elite capacity to be a winger (which Raphinha isn't really).

  2. I know this might sound stupid but look at how the USMNT have been operating there right side of the pitch. I think this might really work with what you are saying. Weah who is playing the rwb roll at Juventus yet as an attacking winger for the US with Dest at Rb. Dest is not the best of defenders but he does do a lot of creating for a full back. I think that Weah’s defensive ability honestly helps with the US pressing on that side to slow things down. It’s just a interesting way of viewing things

  3. Why does He show young wingers with a lot of potential but not the wingers in the world who are better than them right now, like Son who currently has 12 goals and 5 assists in 20 games…

  4. i think the problem here is that you're not comparing him with the best wingers although you should be since the argument is that raphinia is up to par with 'the best wingers in europe'. Saka, Vini, and dembele are not, and far from, being the best in their positions in the world. they are just big names which is very different. anyone who sits and watches 90 minute games of football will realize this; anyone who scrolls twitter will be convinced that saka, vini, and dembele are the best wingers in the world. afterall, they get so much great PR, they must be good right…?

  5. The problem with playing both Raphinha and Ferran Torres is they both need a helping hand to do their skill and their finishing is really really poor. If only we had a dribbler on one side

  6. I know why Barca fans hurt him so much because he is not a flash dribbler. But at least he contributes something in the game he presses his opponent

  7. When u watch this guy u wonder sometimes, how the hell is this guy Brazilian, did they forge his birth certificate , but when the game ends u see his stats and to conclude he is a oxymoron of a player

  8. point of correction the problem is not raphia it is how the progression of the ball from the midfield and also Robert is very slow for raphia to shine need others to be quick.

  9. The frustrating thing is that Raphinha is an inside forward being asked to play touching winger, when he's the opposite kind of play Dembele is. Dembele is a progression monster, while Raphinha lacks that, but has more G/A.

  10. as a barca fan the i know Raphinha produces results , He did last season too. But i think The bar i barca is set so high cuz of brazilians like neymer . Specially when U see Raphinha can't take on players one on one & the first touches . These two puts a player kind of falshy spotlight . I think most fans expect that kind of things from him.
But he contributes a lot in defence but atm barca don't have big guns in right wing so everyone depends on him to do more.

  11. Having watched Raphina play, he works hard and lewa has failed to convert or run into his chances from the wide position.
He lacks this technical aspect that elite players in his position have, but positionally, he is excellent. Its how he creates and gets his chances and assists.
He is very frustrating, but if he had that extra element to him technically – he would be outstanding

  12. I've been sitting with 2 fantasy formations that contains Raphinha, Ferran and Vitor Roque

    In possession a 3241

    Vitor Roque
    Ferran Raphinha
    Cancelo Yamal
    FDJ Pedri
    Christensen Araujo Kounde

    Out of possession a 451

    Vitor Roque

    Ferran Pedri FDJ Yamal Raphinha

    Cancelo Christensen Araujo Kounde

Very pressing and very secure defensively.

  13. Nobody expects Raphinha to be neymar. We expect results and this entire team is underperforming. If the team was doing well we wouldn't be so tough on him. He's not a player that's gonna take us to the next level either, but he's good. Better than Ferran still.

  14. Raphinha isn’t a bad player by no stretch. BUT this is a prime example of getting stuck in the stats. This might be an effect from the type of play style barca implements but by no chance is he better know most of the players you mentioned. In a comparison of how much his dribbles, crosses, and shots are lead to goals are way less than those you mentioned. Watching the games are way different from the stats themselves. He’s predictable, inaccurate crossing, predominately one footed, and low temper has been one of many reasons barca are struggling to score. AND he plays way less than those compared to. Most of the contributions have been in irrelevant games.

  15. Whats most frustrating is his decision making in critical situation or his sharpness so many times his first touch will let him down or his second touch , then he shoots when he should pass and vice versa

  16. Shaka is horribly out of form ..dembele is horrible , vinicius is now coming back from injury , doku is just settling c'mon bro ….don't be deceptive
