Hopefully we don't stick men behind the ball again, that's not the way Norwich play or ever have. At the age of 42 we have always been a footballing side. Yes was decent point against Southampton, positive that josh is back he unsettled Southampton. Dry Jan I've not touched alcohol in nearly 3 years 💪,trust me you feel better for it.
I'll still try and keep the faith for the playoff's in my heart. I'll ignore my head because, well, realism can be utterly dull.
We need to put to bed this silly aspiration of getting into the playoffs. Regardless of the club's media, under this coaching system, we are simply not good enough to be finishing in the top 6 (and if we did, we'd get absolutely destroyed.) We are decidedly average and a mid table finish is the best we can hope for this season. Hopefully before '24/'25 we'll see the changes we need to kick on.
Hopefully when Sarge is fully fit again we can be like we were at the start of the season: always on the front foot, winning the ball back quickly and scoring goals. The big playoff push starts now.
even when all our players are fully fit i have no confidence in Wagner's set up, tactics, in game management/subs…. the league table doesn't lie and the 3 games over Xmas were telling. Saints should have spanked our arse and we got lucky. Glad to see Sarge back and along with Johnny Rowe our only bright sparks burning in a dying fire…. be interesting to see number of ST renewals. When is Knapper going to actually DO something?!!
Call me an optimist but I think we can still make the playoffs.
