  1. My hope is that josh sargent was the man that tied this team together, and that now hes back, we can find the form we had at the early stages of this season. Although, I'm not sure if its a positive that we only perform to a high standard when hes in the team.

  2. it's good seeing that our defense has notably improved. good point to build from especially as we also know we are capable in attacking areas. just generally need greater control over games. i think we lack much squad depth but do have a high quality first 11 player wise when everyone is fit

  3. Undefeated against Ipswich and Southampton. Who was predicting that? But still. According to one assessment, 6th highest value squad in the league but general predictions for league finishes has us 11th or there abouts, so something is not right. Is that just down to missing Josh?

  4. The fact is we ALL knew we needed another striker waaay before Sargents injury, it was obvious and plain to see, but oh no Delia and the board wanted to do it on the cheap like normal and guess what happened.

  5. This was a better result than most predicted and I think most would have taken a draw pre match. Other teams recently have taken the same defensive tactics against Norwich and, it may be, if Sergeant had been playing in those games Norwich may have been able to break them down. Strange how Ipswich haven’t been so convincing since Norwich held them to a draw. This league is unpredictable as West Brom lost today. The dressing room is not anti Wagner.

  6. I think it was the right approach tbh. Hanley back from injury allows him to ease in with support, Wagner clearly doesn’t trust our forwards against a quality side and he is probably right to do so, but the inclusion of Sargent I think will help us with our push back to the playoffs. I genuinely think that if we get this sorted with Sargent and Hanley now back we could get a good late run in.

  7. This channel and a large majorly of fans are becoming extremely tedious in their constant negativity and failure to give DW any kind of break.
Today’s point was more than decent, it was exceptional given the form of Saints.
For the record I don’t want us to go up.. we’re not ready but we can certainly reach playoffs or nearby. And given the season would be commendable considering all the negative garbage that has been thrown at the team.

  8. I think we did exactly what we needed to do today. Was it pretty? No. But that’s the type of RESULT that can help get the team on track…to keep our mid table expectations in check. 😂

  9. Great to see sarge back, makes you wonder if we had attacked more we may have won this game, although a good point. If we sell the 4 players you said in the summer jack we will never get promoted. Just look at were some of the players Norwich have sold are now some of them never start. The grass is not always greener

  10. A lot of the debate following this game has been about the nature of football. Is it a results business or is the entertainment more important? Frankly I think this is a ridiculous question. The objective every game is to win points and it doesn’t matter how you do it. I don’t go to Carrow road to be entertained, I go to cheer on the players and hope that we can achieve promotions and cup runs etc… if you want entertainment on your Saturday afternoons, maybe you should go to the cinema or bowling alley instead…
