Thiago is 15 years older than the next oldest in the team. It's not so much as 'I'm too old for this' LOL but it's a young team and they are going to do 'young team' things. Moments of brilliance and moments of inexperience. We saw both in this match. It's been a baptism of fire for a number of them and we've got to hope that they learn from these experiences. To give them credit, Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal and Man City all had a right battle at that ground. Luton may be struggling in the PL table but that's a tough place to get a win.

How good is his english? Does he understand the chants? As much as I've loved Gilchrist Cameos last 2 games, could imagine having played the full 90 and having a young guy who played all of 2 minutes or whatever he played, getting his name sung at the end might slightly have pissed him off. Or i might be reading to much into it. Was just my initial reaction watching it at full time

I obviously have a few other favorite players from previous seasons, but Thiago Silva is a different class. Not only is he a classy player, but his love for the club is so special. Real leader of my current chelsea team that never ceases to disappoint me. Chelsea for ever!
