Don't mix Mount's case with Gallagher. Mount was offered a contract worth 200K+ a weak but he rejected it because of his arrogance and "advice" from his clueless dad. He wanted assurance about playing important role at Chelsea and playing (i.e. make me captain) and Poch/Club didn't want to assure him or anyone for that matter anything. Gallagher on the other hand has become a whole new player this season. He has upped his game, he doesn't make a fuss about anything, no noise whatsoever yet hasn't been provided an offer. Mount can enjoy TikToking at United while always being injured, we don't need him.

Gallagher should be sold to the highest bidder. He isn't good enough to play for Chelsea, particularly when we move forward to a JDP style of play with the next manager.

Most of the academy products Sam mentioned (Abraham, Hudson-Odoi, Mount, Loftus-Cheek) that have moved on simply weren't good enough – I would love to have a squad of academy graduates, but if they aren't at the level then move them on – all the talk in the summer was about Mount and now the sporting directors look like geniuses for shifting him off and saving the money
I think about half the support wouldnt be bothered, hes a limited footballer who runs around a lot a passion merchant. But looking at how badly the others are playing maybe they do need him

Good point, many cobham players are gone. I loved Tammy thought he was great for his age and ability.
Loosing AC was a gigantic blow for us, i still dont really know what happened, because he was playing something like 85% of all games. Maybe he felt that it was time to move on and Barca are of course one of the biggest most historic clubs in the world.
Rudiger was also a blow, but AC was such a speciel talent and had been so great for us. He is definitely one of the most succesfull academy turnovers in cobhams history.
Keep Gallagher – no he is not necessarily a world class player – but he plays with power and desire and puts up areal fight for the badge. We fans love him, maybe not as our captain but i think he should be allowed to stay, id love to see him be part of the rebuild and for him to have a role in a better functioning side in the future.

Gallagher is a good player…good, not excellent, and certainly NOT world class. He could fit in with a lot of good mid-table teams, and that equals a very good professional career, but he doesn't belong on a roster that has ambitions of being European giants.

He’s not signing the contract offer same as Maatsen. Tami was demanding ridiculous demands mount refused to sign the contract and he is now a 250k a week player who has been a flop for Utd. Christiansen left on a free transfer and had nothing to do with the new owners. RLC would not have been offered the same deal he was on and Hudsen odi signed a contract with Chelsea and didn’t even bother to take the opportunity when he was given the chance. When you have the likes of Sarr earning more money than the majority of first team players and the owners have been responsible for the reduced wages and now have a wage cap. The reason why they are the 4th highest wages and a 100 million less a year than Utd. They don’t allow players to run down contract and leave on a free which makes sense to anyone who has a brain.
