      Ten Hag..18 Months, Won a trophy, finished 3rd, reached cup final, out of ECL in group stage….. 7th in the league this year so far. Pundits "Complete failure ! Get rid!

      Eddie Howe 2 full years…Won nothing, finished behind MUFC in the League, lost to Utd in the League cup final, out of the ECL in the group stages..6th in the league so far. Pundits "Howe is a genius, should be England manager , complete success"!!
      Don't get me wrong, I like Howe and think he's a good manager. I am simply pointing out the inconsistency among media idiots.
      Don't listen to the noise, stick with Ten Hag, or we'll be back at square one again!!

      Last season Newcastle wouldnt have conceded in the last minute. They learned their lesson when Liverpool got a very late goal at Anfield. After that in games they would slow the game down, time waste and pretty much wind the opposition up. I think they need to get back to doing that to see out games.

      Tripper has always been awful at the back, he is ok going forward but his main job is to defend and he gets skinned every time or makes mistakes

      Top 7 is a fantastic season for us especially with our squad. We have only spent money on good players which Mike Ashley should have been doing every season.
      Give us 3-5 years and we will have a great team and a squad to compete in all competitions.

      People say we have money but our squad was so bad when the Saudis came in that money has been spent on making a Europa league/conference league squad but Eddie is that good of a manager he over achieved and got us top 4

      It is the lack of sub options that is hurting Newcastle… the difference in having 5 good subs to bring on in the second half is massive game on game. To be brutally honest finishing 6th would be a great achievement this season

      The thing you have to realize following the Chelsea game is that Newcastle played with EIGHT of the team that were in the BOTTOM 3 when Howe took over. SEVEN of them started the game, along with a 17 year old due to injuries.
      Trippier was being rested, but forced to come on due to yet another injury (2 players were lost due to nasty challenges…)

      With the squad/subs Newcastle had, and the quality that Chelsea had at their disposal on the bench is it any shock that Newcastle found it difficult against such an expensive team? Once they get some of the 14 or so unavailable players back they will be a force to reckon with.

      most toon fans think they are above where they should be so we are happy. We are happy with our new brand of play. Its exciting to watch. Keens to see what happens with further backing each year on.
