  1. We were totally superior like everytime we play them and we deserved to win but unfortunately. Let’s carry on! Next march arsenal guys in our house👍🏾👍🏾

  2. Years ago Liverpool was quite happy with a draw at Manchester United. Big Deal Van Djik. Every club goes through tough times and have to play to their strengths.Get over it.

  3. A team like them? Yeah United aren’t great at the moment but pipe down Virgil. Your arrogant club has won the Premier League once in over 30 years and two champions league in like 50 years…so shut up with that arrogant mouth. Maybe the Netherlands will win the World Cup in 2026…since they’ve never won it.

  4. you don't go to Anfield to win with that team and injuries, Man united got in with the right mentality to get a point and Liverpool were so in a hurry

  5. Embarassing interview by Virgil. I honestly expect better of him. United's first team is mostly out injured. United came to win, but with the team they had the tactic had to be to sit back, defend then catch them out on the break. Liverpool and VVD have TAA and Alison to thank for ensuring they got something out of the game….. Would have been stupid and suicidal to try to play an open game against them.

  6. United suffered one of the biggest losses in their history at anfield last season. The United fans, players and manager all took it on the chin yet when Liverpool only manage a draw against a United team full of injuries Van Dijk and Klopp resort to making sly digs at United in an interview. Move on and show a bit of sportsmanship for once when you don’t get your own way.

  7. I'm definitely not a United fan, but I still find these statements quite silly and arrogant. Liverpool had a lot more chances, had more possession and ultimately played a better game. United, however, played the best game for their current condition, with several players out. So I don't understand Virgil's point: if you didn't take advantage of the opportunities you had, it's your responsibility.

On a side note: I can't understand the English fans. It seems that a draw is a tragedy and that you always have to win. No one wins all the time and often you lose and draw, even if you play better. My team, here in Italy, often loses and draws. That's how it works: it's life.

  8. @ManU fans
    Calm your tits.
They meant, liverpool wanted to win, as it was their home ground, theu controlled the game, and thought they should have won the game, we were crap in the final 3rd.

ManU, defended deep the entire game and defended very well.
    Calm down y'all 🙂 good game ( we deserved the 3points though😂 😉

  9. People that actually watched the game know where Virgil is coming from , man United played like a newly promoted side today , was an absolute a joke.

  10. These comments saying he was "disrespectful" or "arrogant" are just dumb. He’s a footballer and in the immediate aftermath of a big game with a disappointing performance, people are going to say things like this in the heart of the moment. That’s the way it should be.

Take away the rivalry, take away the fact that Man United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have outspent almost everyone, year after year… There’s no doubt Liverpool dominated that game and should have at least scored once. 34 shots and about 70% possession, there’s nothing controversial in that. But it’s 2 points dropped in the title race and its normal players will be disappointed.
