  1. Laporte is amazing, but stones has been on fire this year. I wouldn't change things up until I really need to. And dias is too good to leave out. He and cancelo are the backbone of that team, with KDB and Silva being the brains. The team just fits perfectly. Remove sterling though. Mahrez has been balling out, he is a far better option this season. Keep sterling as a sub, and the team makes a lot more chances through Foden and mahrez.

  2. Laporte is a better defender than stones in my opinion he certainly ain't worse yes stones has had a good season but let's not kid ourselves dias is probably the PFA player of the year this season so anyone next to him is going to look half decent really!🤔🤔

  3. This panel never used to consider Di Maria is one of the guy but their thoughts are changed now. Di Maria and his deadly sharp crosses.

  4. Starting a center back because he scored a header is like starting a striker because he cleared the ball the line. It's a bonus, but not the focus of your position.

  5. You English commentators are silly. Aymeric Laporte's position was never in doubt. The reason Stones gelled with Dias was because Laporte got injured. Laporte is way better than Stones, get used to it. He plays better even in his sleep. Laporte didn't need Dias to play better. John Stones on the other hand had to be jolted by Dias to wake up. Pep wouldn't have a problem at all with selection. For me as a City fan, I'm OK with either of them, but Stones can never be better than Laporte

  6. Before Dias came in Laporte was their best defender. Now the partnership of Dias and Stones was immaculate before the last couple weeks but Pep can start anyone of them with Dias just don't start Laporte and Stones😂

  7. The fact that we comparing Laporte and stones is ridiculous, yes stones has had a good season but Laporte is world class let’s not forget before he’s injury it was him and vvd being talked about has the best CB in the world, he’s just not had a good season because of the injury and stones stepped up but is definitely the best player of the 2 and he should be in that french squad at the euros 💯% and yes he should start against PSG stones just has a mistake in him.

  8. Play both. Put Laporte at left back where he's played before. From a defensive standpoint you can trust him more than Mendy or Zinchenko. Play Cancelo off the right since he comes into midfield anyway and essentially have a back three.

  9. Not surprised after all, when Spurs that hasn't won any title for years suddenly and untimely fired their experienced manager who took them to the Carabao finals and employed a green horn coach and expects a magic. Meanwhile, the same manager they sacked has won City at their Etihad this season. So, what makes them think Morinho couldn't replicate the same win at the finals? Spurs spored their own defeat as soon as the 'special one' was sacked. For me, him being sacked, no big deal but the timing was absolutely wrong.

  10. He should start stones and Diaz because Stones has more pace than Laporte. Laporte a great player but more likely to get found out by pace of Mbappe and Neymar. Stones also better on the ball. I think Pep will pick Laporte though !
