The Premier League game at the London Stadium finished West Ham 3 Wolves 0 with goals from Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen. Lucas Paqueta got three assists and could have had more as the Brazilian ran the game from his free role on the left.

  1. Kudus ball retention is incredibly…for someone so slight and little hes as strong as an ox….the guy never looses the ball even when 3 players are all over him….if salah leaves liverpool they will want kudus not bowen 😩

  2. Kudus could play anywhere. He's strong in midfield and calm at both ends. He helped out Coufal a lot today. If Fab picks up a knock he might be able to play keeper.

  3. I think that you mentioned in a previous video (or someone did) that the Fulham game could be a blessing in disguise.

It was so bad that I think the low block era is over – especially against teams we are better than.

We have some really good players and we are actually playing to their strengths a bit more.

If we play like this I have no problem with Moyes staying. I have nothing against him, I am just against really depressing football.

  4. Thank God Antonio got injured , forced Moyes to change. Can’t see Micky getting back in the team now, not being mean but he wouldn’t have scored any of todays chances would he?
Next two games are a massive test, not for the team but Moyes. Will he carry on going for it or try to turtle like he h usually does against the Sky 6 teams?

  5. Kudus will give Payet a run for his money. Lol.. Paqueta is good assists but Kudus still a lot to do.. Paqueta gives the ball away and falls over far too much.. . Kudus dribbles draw in defenders, he adds goals and is a real clinical goal threat. Kudus has done more in less time than players who have been at WHU since last season. WHU can only get better. 6. Moyes owes his critics a massive apology.
For nearly two years we've been begging him to abandon the low block, non pressing, timid tripe he's been serving up and as soon as he does, we look unreal.
    Long may it continue!

  7. Surely Kudus can play on the left? Imagine a decent striker who can work the way we want them too along with Bowen and Kudus, with Paqueta and Ward-Prowse behind…

  8. I think the biggest difference today was that firstly, we tried to play on the front foot. We showed intent and did not just give them the ball a d based our whole game plan on sit and counter. Because we played on the front foot, we didn't sit so deep so when we did win the ball, we won it further up the pitch. The mindsetof David Moyes was completely different to the "low block" tactics he has been playing, so its kind of ironic that by being more attack minded, it led to the counter attacking goals and style he has been trying to implement. I now just hope he keeps to this more attack minded approach and doesnt see today as 3 counter attacking goals, thinks thats our strength and gives possesion to the opponents again

  9. Fwiw I thought Bowen was as good as Paq and Mo today. He works and works and works. tenderizing the back line. He had Dawson chasing shadows. It’s why we’re so dangerous now. Our front work their asses for each other and they’re on the same page now. Partnerships have been formed

  10. Its nice for once not having to moan about moyes and the tactics that was a great performance from our front three and some wonderful assits from the Brazilian maestro and great finishes from Kudus and Bowen
Im going to the pub soon with a smile a Cheshire cat would be proud of

  11. Gonzo
The tactical element is important but you have to be flexible as other teams will not play like Wolves, I loved our short game but I loved our long game and if sides aren’t sure what you’re going to do it gives you other elements

  12. Thought Bowen for the 1st 60 minutes played the Antonio role perfect – in that he wasn’t pressing or chasing down – luckily Kudus took the bull by the horns!

  13. Great win great performance mostly, 2nd half we let up the pressure which I don't like but apart from that it was a good match and i don't know why we can't play like that more? If we did no one would really have a problem with Moyes?

  14. Imagine how good we could be with 10 outfield players ! Passenger soucek replaced by a mctominey type plus an upgrade at right back and a new striker we’d be complete I reckon ( with the right tactics obs )

  15. But gonzo, I don't think we was playing counter attacking football! Yes the 3 goals were from counter attacks but before we was 2-0 up, we was passing our way up the pitch, fast pace some 1 2s. Good to watch football… that wasn't the counter attacking westham from 2 years ago, this is a new west ham we r seeing… and I'm very suspicious that this isn't moyes doing. After 5-0 defeat we change completely. Something we havnt seen before I believe.
