F_cking LEGEND!!!! Omg I’m glad he’s working in Boston. Boston has never seen an atmosphere like the the city on the day of a Pedro start at home. The WHOLE city was completely electric. If you weren’t around yet, idk what to even compare it to. Think like if Taylor Swift played baseball, it was that kind of fever in the city on those days. It was really special. Hope one of the teams can get another guy like that some day, but guys like Pedro are once in a lifetime

After I learned how to throw the circle change properly in college it was deadly. Not only the movement but you want it to appear that you are throwing a fastball to the batter, same mechanics as a fastball , but you take the back leg out of it and hand positioning is key also. It dives down and in on a righty and down and away from a lefty

Lol forgot what year it was, saw Pedro playing for the Mets facing off against Randy Johnson and the Diamondbacks at the old Shea Stadium in Queens. Low scoring game but both Pitchers where at their prime.
When Pedro was with the Red Sox I don't think a missed a game he started. I remember seeing him pitch for the expos and being blown away by his pitch combinations.
