im in shock that alot of fans are saying they would rather get relegated and keep cooper and we need to show respect for what hes done , n personlally i do respect what he done , but wheres the respect for those players that worked there butts off to get us promoted also with fickle comments like that ,,
alot of ppl are asking what good would a new manager being brought in do at this point of the season , well rewind the clock 2 seasons n u have ur answers
i like steve cooper and drop him to the likes of palace etc n he will do well because there allready an established grounded team that has path allready set out ,, but for a new prem team like us thats been out for 20+ years needs a different kinda gaffa u have to have a manager thats tactically on point, ruthless n experienced enough to develope a prem standard team from scratch n that aint s.c nor is it the coaching staff we have either , we have this system in place from s.c / coaching / backroom staff that are all from the championship no prem experience at all ,
and that goes for players aswell hardly any prem experienced in the team with no leaders on the pitch controling the game ,
im a forest fan and first and formost im loyal to the badge and the club , but my passion starts with staying in the prem and working towards that great era again thats where my loyalty lays , and to get that we need new structure

Forest do seem to be in free fall at the moment, but I really do hope Steve Cooper manages to turn it round.

It’s about time people took their cooper coloured tinted glasses off. We’ve had some brilliant and amazing moments under him but the standard we are now at is sending us right back to the championship. Stop blaming recruitment or anything else. The same mistakes are still happening that have happened since promotion and now we are losing at home, we can’t even hide behind that anymore. Any other manager would be sacked. The squad has players more than capable of getting results. They work in training and follow instruction all week. Cooper said in every pre season interview about needing more players, got given decent players and what’s happened?????
A change is needed or we’re in the championship. A weird part of me feels some fans would rather that than lose cooper. I don’t. I want premier league football And I want my club I love to be getting points. It is not enjoyable anymore. It’s horrible.

Something seriously wrong at Forest. Arguably our Championship side was more cohesive. I’m trying to imagine that side with the addition of MGW alone. Right this moment Cooper has lost his way. He’s been overwhelmed by players and interference from above. This is the problem when you have a ‘coach’ as opposed to a ‘manager’. As a coach your input into transfer targets is diminished. Are we missing Dane Murphy? At least his recruitment was largely bang-on. How we can spend a fortune and still look like a relegation side is incredulous. It really is a case of too many cooks. Could you honestly see Klopp or Guardiola putting up with this level of incompetence?
I’ve heard players describe Cooper as a like a ‘big brother’ to them. I’ve thought for some time that his relationship with the players was too cosy. Could you seriously hear someone like John McGovern say that about Cloughie. I’ve heard him say he didn’t like him but would have run through a brick wall for him. Clough had an acidic character but in the early years ruled with an iron fist and no player was beyond his criticism. At least the players were able to execute his game plan.
New manager please, before chrism's, the players stared to loose the confines.
