What seperates Benavidez from his opponents is he doesn't have to load his punches & they still have speed & power. On top of that, his defense is above average. Caleb Plant had the elusiveness, Andrade had the power, & Morrell has the size (lls). You need all those things to beat Benavidez.
David Morrell should be largely ignored and not taken seriously. He's completely unproven at 9-0 having fought nothing but paleteros and taxi cab drivers. He's trying to use the Caleb Plant technique for landing a big fight by disrespecting a future opponent and calling everyone out until he gets what he wants. He's 25 and fighting only 2 times a year on ESPN. Nobody knows who he is and he needs to earn a shot. Pass.
It's hard to see how good this guy really is, until he fights an elite fighter. Benavidez we already seen him demolish 2 elite fighters.

Benavidez has a very limited amateur experience and will have a Heck of a fight on his hands with Morrell. Andrade was too small for the weight class and means nothing on Benavidez resume.
