Wout Weghorst signs for Manchester United. Reds replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley, with the striker set to depart Besiktas.

The Turkish club will receive a £2.5million compensation payment from United to end the 30-year-old striker’s loan spell prematurely.

Besiktas will receive the payment directly from United rather than Burnley, Weghorst’s parent club.

The Athletic
