  1. Jacob wasn’t happy with Alan here but 🤷‍♂️ Alan is partly right, and Tim, wasn’t good enough to solely blame fatigue. Milan score a lot of goals! Like spurs usually do. So I can see although at home, it’s going to be probably tougher than this.

Now had Isak have moved inwards slightly as Gary Neville said he would have scored but Davies got there, Isak just didn’t have the legs. That’s an example. And as Callum said it was also a mentality thing where we let one in and so in the back of your mind…

But spurs at home are fast as well and potent so course there was goals in this. I said we would lose 3-1 so 4-1 even surprised me. Tbh I don’t even think spurs fans would have thought they’d score 4! But the players took advantage of the fact Newcastle players weren’t with it and leggy. The lot today was off, duals, Kieran, Bruno, our passing etc etc, it’s combo of a lot but the most important thing here is what comes after the Milan game. Sure we want to show the world we are a top side and give Milan a game, hopefully not get hammered, but most importantly the fixtures coming after this especially away games! Likes of Chelsea, Fulham, Luton, Forrest, that’s the real test bcos even with a depleted squad these are defo games we should be winning even if we don’t play excellent stuff in those. We have to take the pain move on and sort this out. But we MUST STEP it up and pick up points!

  2. Eddie Howe loves high press and work rate. That works, up until players start to get injuries because of that tactic and the extra fixtures. Once teams work out all they have to do to win is to beat the press, the games over. His away record is shocking and if it wasn’t for the fans at home, they’d probably be further down the league. He’s probably got a few games before the board decide whether he goes, and if he loses the Sunderland game, I can imagine his bag will be already packed for him the next day.

  3. Still awaiting CB reinforcements and a striker, although Richi showing some quality today , Veliz needs a loan sorting IMO, just to get up to the pace and some goals under his belt. Levy cannot sit on his laurels, even though this season he has got it right in Manager and players in. Couple of seasons between the Academy and first team before the style and system Ange wants and the fans , like myself, love to see. Sonny doing a perfect captains role and leading by example. CoYS !

  4. Son is in the top 5 best players in the world at the moment in my opinion, does anyone else agree? I feel he doesn't get the recognition he deserves, just imagine if he was English, the media hype he would get would be big

  5. Son is one of the best players in the world, electrifying performances running each attack the whole season. Seen all pl strikers this year but none as impactful for their team as son, he is playing like a mad man but English media still don’t get it

  6. Honestly this pundits are not coaches for a reason and those that have been have failed miserably. A midfield of Bosouma, Madison, and Kulishesky does not have balance and would mean the system would not work. The fullbacks would not play as they do. C’mon

  7. Nobody really mentions how poir Newcastle were…its all good mentioning hoe good Kulusevski was in the centre, but against stronger opposition it won't be the same story. Romero showed once again how reckless he can be with that stupid tackle….😮

  8. There’s nothing more tiring than players from a previous generation thinking that their generation had it right and every generation after that is wrong.

  9. Some people were writing Big Ange off after the last defeat. Big Ange was merely playing Angeball, its more fast and furious than the Vin Diesel car films. If Tottenham at any point dismisses him before the 2 next windows, well that's like shooting yourself in the foot. Big Ange is the Ethan Hunt of EPL.

  10. It’s a good point made about the high press it takes so much fitness combined with concentration .doing this every week is very difficult I think Newcastle are a victim of this .
