Musah had a great game. Dominating performance
no gives backsies England his USA all the way now
Class and speed! Love so much to see his final pass improving like this.
He looks comfortable on the pitch. Gelling with his team.
Did you make this music? I could listen to this all day. Love the lo-fi with the commentary. As the kids would say, it’s fire.
Did you see aaron long game against Philadelphia? Yikes!!!
His bursts of speed and agility create perfect pockets of space for passes. He’s going only get bigger, smarter, and faster as he ages. Scary.
5 in form 9's, MMA, Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, Aaronson. Only 6 can be on the field. Decisions like these are good problems to have.
I’m loving that Yunus is finally adding g/a to his game. Could be a dangerous weapon for us for many years going forward
Wales and Iran shitting their pants right now
Yunus needs to be told that he should never pass backwards towards the goalie. Those passes were consistently hurried and sent to someone who had an opposing player nearby so they generated a panicked clearance pass. Other than that I only noticed one truly bad pass during the game.
Almost picked up a third assist at 4:46 😉
Jesus hes playing on another level rn!!! Wow
Good game but those wild back passes are a little scary
So good. Champagne football
Musah is finally getting better at making that last pass, big things coming for this guy!
Not sure there’s all that much to get excited about here. He played well against one of the weakest teams in La Liga. He needs to do a lot more to prove to me he’s one of our studs. As of now he’s an average player on the USMNT. Nothing more nothing less. Hopefully he continues to progress and reach the ceiling we hope he’s capable of.
In my mind our studs are Reyna, McKennie, Pulisic, Adams, and Aaronson. And there are a handful of players that offer a similar level of talent as Musah, albeit different strengths/weaknesses. De La Tore and Acosta are either at or dang near the level of Musah.
You missed at least a few touches, some of the poor ones like two bad passes I remember and a terrible chest control that got Valencia in trouble. I love these videos but want to make sure people realize they are not the whole picture. Musah was mostly very good in this game, but he got his team into serious trouble a couple times. And the times when he wasn’t involved in attack he did a LOT of walking. That may be down to coach instruction (he was often roaming all over the pitch as a floating attacker), or quality of opposition, Valencia was very much in control throughout. For a veteran it was a solid game, for a 19yo it was superb. He may shine this year in a team where he has freedom and not asked to do too much.
Props on the mixing skills too…
