  1. I thought Greenwood would of been a great player to have on our bench this season, especially in the championship, who makes these decisions ?? I mean 1 and a half million, if we would of kept him this season, we probably could of got 4 to 5 million for him, maybe more at the end of the season or maybe kept him, as he is still a young player, I'm baffled at some of these players that we let go so cheap

  2. Good to see your arms have reattached themselves since yesterday Ger.

I think if Adam's avoided injury, McKennie could have been much better for us. They could have been like the Bash Brothers from Mighty Ducks 2.

    3 – 1 tonight. Be grand.

  3. I actually think McKennie would possibly thrive under Farke. He seems to need motivation sometimes. He also has a lot of tools that other managers donโ€™t seem to exploit, like the long throw, for instance. He does it more at Juventus this season. Throwing the ball directly into the box is an actual thing that doesnโ€™t need too much explanation and immediately adds an attacking aspect. Itโ€™s a small thing.

  4. It's easier for these loan players to hold their hands up and take some blame for relegation when they're hundreds of miles away with other clubs. Pity they didn't have the nuts to hang around and say that and vow to help us get promoted. In saying that we are better off now without them.

  5. Hi Ger. I remember when it became clear that McKenny was coming. Like you said, I was as excited as the next man. However, as I started to look into him and his career further, I watched a documentary on him charting his life and how he became a successful player (Sorry I forget the name but it is on YT somewhere) His is an interesting story. I almost knew that we had a talent on our hands here…..Until! There was a moment when he was asked about his upbringing in Germany (his father being in the US military) and, to paraphrase, he said something along the lines of "Yeah. Life has always been a journey, an experience. I love visiting new places then moving on to the next and experiencing different cultures. Then it's great to leave and visit friends and family in America and decide where to go next" Alarm bells rang there for me. I got the impression that the football was just a means to an end. A way to fund his personal experiences etc. I understand that of course but when you are playing for Leeds then we need your 100% focus and commitment to stay and use us as your experience in life for a while. Just thought I'd share. A tricky 2-1 for me tonight. Best wishes. MOT X

  6. Youโ€™ve inspired me pal.. Growing my beard out for first time in mi life (44) ๐Ÿ˜‚ itchy as hell! Design fault imo ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. McKennie's like a rollercoaster mate highs and lows.
Yes agree with others Farke could bring out his true potential.
    Greenwood yes a good player.
Harrisons not had a great move Ger, another ex Leeds player failing to perform outside of the club. Last season exposed many players showing that they really did lack Je ne sais quai.

  8. Weston is definitely more sooted to Seria A than the premier League, he let himself down by seen on the train down to kings cross and the Eurostar the day we got relegated that annoyed me , looked like he couldn't wait to get out, having Jesse Marsch is no good for any player even if they are the same nationality.

  9. THanks Ger. A lot of last year's players get a lot of stick because we tend only to think of the huge amount of money involved. Most of us, however, and especially young people, are very much influenced by our environment. As outsiders we don't really know how bad it was in the dressing room last season. Most of us are not incredibly emotionally strong and our emotional status tends to trump money or other considerations. In negative environments people generally want out. Only an exceptional few brave it out. Furthermore, most of these guys are journeymen, as are most of us in a world where loyalty and commitment mean less and less (I'm 60 and temping at the moment FFS). They are not of and from the club, so what are we expecting really? A very good player coming in from outside and really getting the club and the fans' perspective is a rare thing. Maybe time to move on.

  10. McKennie did not give 100%, which is clear. On balance though, the person that hired him got sacked shortly after he arrived so maybe he just couldn't settle in quickly enough. Our clown parade of temporary managers didn't help either. Sometimes being in a toxic environment makes you shut down…..and Elland Road was very toxic end of last season

  11. Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ Ger Sam Greenwood is doing well at the Boro i think when we play the Boro it's going to be a tricky match pleased Sam Greenwood can't play against us ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. I would go draw 2.2 against the Boro. Tonight's match against the ๐Ÿฆข Swan's i will go 2.1win ๐Ÿฆšfor LEEDS ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡จ thanks Ger ๐Ÿ™ respect to Preston doing a ticket deal over 5,000 should be lively match ๐Ÿ™Œ keep fighting all Leeds aren't we marching on together we all love Leeds ๐Ÿฆš๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‘ŠโœŠ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

  12. Truth is these players that came the Leeds weren't good enough for the English premier league every game your playing against top opposition the idiot the was victor orta knew nothing about the calibre of his signings ie firpo kristiansen aaronson that says it all mot

  13. I think the fact that many of our loan players are under performing currently shows they werenโ€™t actually as good as we thought or their reputation would lead us to believe. Think some of our signings this year would have done a better job such as Ampadu.

  14. Nice one Ger. Of all the loan players that chose to desert Leeds I can't think of one player that I would want to return to Leeds. Sinisterra is definitely 100% ๐Ÿ’ฉnon-returnable. What's also amusing to me is that they can't even cut it at their current lower league clubs. They do show me one thing though, they are showing "Consistency".

  15. McKennie was the worst signing under Marsch which is saying something. Overweight, undertalented waste of a jersey – should never be allowed to be associated with the club again.
One game he played in 80 mins he had 11 touches, was replaced by Forshaw who in 10 mins had 8 touches – tells you everything
