If you look closely at the penalty Mudryk doesn’t really go down until Milner makes contact with his legs. Milner tries to step in front of Mudryk but ends up kind of tripping him which leads to Milner also losing his footing and following through with his feet, unintentionally. I think it was a penalty.

So, we can now actually try ACTUAL no.10 in Cole Palmer in 4-2-3-1 formation next game, due to Gallagher's suspension, should be interesting, we should play Mudryk, Cole, Raheem and Nico up front.
On a serious note, this team need to start learning discipline, this is no way to go forward with several players suspended due to red/yellow cards, it's letting your team down, especially as Captains. Come on, lads..

Yan, I was one of them on insta criticizing the second yellow. The ref lost control of the game. Waited until both teams were frustrated, then punished whomever fouled next. Brighton got the advantage from 2 non-calls before Gallagher’s second. No consistency from the refs. Creating chaos so they can flash the cards. It’s intentional. It’s obvious. It’s embarrassing. I think you’ve gotten used to the horrific officiating, honestly.

Enzo, Mudryk, Sanchez were incredible
Sanchez is very poor… Had a bad game… Distribution was poor… The 1st goal, he should had punch it… He should had punch 👊 it as the goal was an R2 & the ball was slow… He should had positioned better… Also, his distribution is very poor with passes
Chelsea will be just fine against United, will only need Palmer in that number 10 role with Mudryck and Sterling outwide
Oh my days… Chelsea will be the death of me, when 2 nil up i found myself feeling very uncomfortable when normally back only a few seasons ago id be thinking we've won done and dusted but no i felt we would still make it hard work on ourselves and i was right, we won so I'm happy but still so many unanswered questions came from the game but we ruddy won so a nice Sunday evening for us all COYB!!!
The commentators for Optus were swearing the pen was not a pen, somehow because Milner made contact up high first it makes it ok that he takes him out?

The way Gallagher tries to attack the player with the ball.. is most times .. living on the edge.. sometimes, it works out. But most times not. Wish people would see Gallagher, for what he really is.. a chicken, with his head cut off. Not a quality midfielder..

The dropped ball thing is a new rule apparently. When a decision is overturned through var intervention, the next action has to be a dropped ball especially for an overturned penalty.
When i watched the penalty Milner made no attempt to play the ball. Thats why i would call it a penalty

Yan, been a while. Tennessee friend here. I still have this feeling that this isn't a statement win. Still think we are playing mid table football. Every player today did not look that impressive. Any way hopefully we can get getting better. More fludity and quit being soft. We are so young.
Colwill was at fault for Brightons first goal. Would beat most goalies. Sanchez was very good in the game.
The 52nd yellow card was for Badiashile, not for Caicedo as a lot of us think. Caicedo wasn’t booked in this game.
Sometimes I don’t understand Chelsea fans. It’s sad Jackson is not given his due credit. What more do they want from a 21 year old raw and inexperienced player. There is simply no evidence Broja offers more to the team and yet they speak as though Broja is being cheated off his place in the team. I really don’t get it….
