Why are we tripling up his wages? Because it’s the only way he would leave Atlético for United. Because we have become a meme of club. It’s unfortunate, but this is our reality. Hopefully, things will get better.
Also let’s not forget last season he could only play X amount of minutes per game due to the clause with Barca. Potentially meaning he’s not been ran into the ground last season hence why he’s putting up top numbers.
