I think Sandro is guilty of having a secret gambling addiction. England goal keeper Peter Shilton lost everything over 45 years. But thanks to this champion goal keeper's wife he eventually won the battle. Let's also remember Gary Speed. Football today is tremendous pressure on players and coaches etc. More than ever! No man is an Island! We're all mortal.

Keith Gillespie comes to mind. It's better than an alcohol addiction. George Best, Gazza etc comes to mind. Gazza recovered slowly. Gambling addiction is 99% usually a 'secret addiction' in most cases. It's an irrational thing. Gamblers don't tell anyone and that's why it continues. Sandro is a young player. Many playing years ahead. He'll be a better player once he gets cured. Stand by Sandro.
He'll repay your loyalty. I don't think even his family, girl friend knew about it. It's an illness and it causes depression, anxiety. We must support him. And he has been honest about his addiction now. That's the first step. I suppose Sandro thought in betting to win it would make him play better? I don't know. But it is an illness. He who is without sin cast the first stone. Let's make up our minds and stick to it. Period! Treat others, especially your brother, as you would like to be treated. I stand by Sandro. Help him get over this illness.
