  1. I'd like to see mubama, kudua, scarles and Chesters to start tomorrow as these are some possible problem positions that we need to see if these boys are ready to be used

  2. I mean, Moyes is going to play Ings. He just is. Could he please at least put Mubama beside him? Please? Give him someone to play off of. And if he can't succeed with a partner, then that's it, the 'Ings is in the wrong system' argument is dead. We know he won't be playing any of the youngsters apart from Mubama. They all played last night. It's just not going to happen.

For my part, I really, really do not want to drop into the ECL. I want to move forward, and to me that's not a forward move. It was fantastic to win it last year, but imo we need to be heel bent on moving into the elimination rounds of the EL. Europa or bust.

  3. Stick Ings into central defence as a straight swap with Mavropanos…Ings cannot do worse than when he is up top (earlier in the season I recall a couple of good defensive moments). Mav can make a nuisance of himself as a false 9.

  4. As a hammer I’m worried . No kudus, Bowen , mubama possibly and even Antonio would be great against these . They need to win and hope Freiburg don’t lose to olympiakos to have a chance of conf league football. If we play like we did on Saturday we could make hard work of this. I’m hoping I’m wrong and we are 2-0 up at half time. Just hope the olympiakos game don’t come back to bite us. Also remember if us and Freiburg win tomorrow and Freiburg beat us by a goal at London stadium their goal difference will put them above us and we won’t get a bye into last 16. Also if we were to lose tomorrow and olympiakos win at Freiburg. An olympiakos win against backs on last day and a 1 goal defeat would put us back in the cup we marched out of Prague with last season. We need to win tomorrow and be nice if the Greeks do us and themselves a favour tomorrow . worried slightly but I’m still saying we ll scrape a 2-1 tomorrow ⚒️⚒️⚒️coyi

  5. I saw the game against Cheltenham and we were very good, the players that stood out for me were Mubama Marshal, Earthy was the best of the young bunch, but what really worried me was the best player on the park , head and shoulders above any other was Ben Johnson and he’s not going to make it, this ain’t a put down just an observation

  6. Maybe the stars are aligning to force change. Cant wait untill the end of the season to make progress. Our bigger players and youth will stagnate and regress if we keep doing the same thing for another 6 months

  7. Fornals has had the stuffing knocked out of him. He's gone from being in the Spanish squad to being a virtual outcast by his club manager. Feel bad for the guy. On another note, let's be realistic, we should be winning the group with the squad we have.

  8. All of this posturing. It doesn't matter because we will still park the bus and score from a Soucek header in the final 10 minutes to win the match wahey! ☹️

  9. Hope a speedy recovery for Antonio & Bowen and the same for Kudus to quickly get over his illness. Need them back as soon as possible but also fighting fit on their return.
Part of having a decent size & a depth of quality in the squad, was for these mid-week European games and for cover. Of course we will miss our star players but we should
have plenty of confidence in any of the replacements, no matter if they are young or old, borrowed or booed!!

I don't particularly like the phrase 'Give them a chance', even though I understand the meaning behind it because as already proven paid professional players, it's not a case of
giving them a 'chance' but more about giving them a job to do for the team. Simple as that! If they are deemed not good enough then they shouldn't be there in the first place.
So it's probably more about their confidence, desire & mind set to see if they are up for playing. Then it's up to the individual to make the most of the 'opportunity' when it arrives!

  10. Had a heated chat with my mate that's supports villa. He was mocking those of us that dare pick up negatives within the Moyes regime. I stand with the hammers chat mentality where credit where it's due and criticism should also be valid. Long story short – it's interesting again to see how other supporters see our expectations/opinions. Phrase he used was "above our station". I stand by my position, we value certain long term outcomes but don't forget the constant evaluation of his things could be done better

  11. It’s a must win game tomorrow. Unless we’ve got no choice due to too many players missing in certain positions we need to play a team as strong as possible. If we play too many youngsters and fail to win and then go on to finish 2nd, which means 2 extra games in our already busy schedule, against a Champions League dropout, you’ll be the first to whinge. Teams that go on to do well in cup competitions don’t take the piss.

  12. I'd be happy to drop into conference league to be honest … we might win it again. So I'd love to see us just go for it with the kids and Cornet. Agree on Ings, Formals and also Benny … seen enough, he's not good enough
