      When talking about selling Matip you need to keep in mind that for the Carabao & FA Cups Klopp plays our 2nd string until either the final or Semi-final and even then we play the best of the 2nd string players in those games (subbing them after 60m usually.)
      I for one LOVE winning ANY trophy, and if we want to make it THROUGH to those finals we need a mixture of quality and experience and Matip is still 100% capable of putting in excellent performances and his wages are only $100k. Unless we're bringing in a TOP tier CB like Inacio I say keep him.

      If we could grab Palhinha in January and Inacio in Summer I'm a happy camper.
      And then seen if United would take 35-40m for Sancho as our Salah replacement/backup. I know that one upsets a lot of Liverpool fans but Sancho has world class potential in him, he's still young and he's British so he'd count towards the native quota.
      Plus Klopp making Sancho a star after United failed to would be great banter!

      Leo is right MacAllister isn't being used to his full potential but I think it might be a form of training for Mac so that next season we can play with a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 formation. It'd make us less predictable, give more style/tactical versatility in game as the DP can be more defensive when necessary, to protect leads or when we're weakened due to injury/etc.
      Plus it lets Trent come centrally to play as a part-time Midfielder whilst in attack. I suspect that the reason Klopp was willing to pay SO MUCH for Caicedo was because he knew the Mac/Cai Double Pivot would work straight away for us.
