If we want a very attack minded LB, might as well try Maatsen out before splashing cash on Davies. Davies is quick but bad defensively, and if he's on a contract standoff with Bayern, he won't fit the club's wage structure. Plus the money he'll cost. He's exciting, but we've got more important problems to fix.

Honestly I would love Alphonso Davies at Chelsea. Chilwell gets injured way to much. He’s good but he can’t play more than 2 games without being out for two months. Davies would be an excellent pickup.
