Im so surprised that Marcotti is dismissive of Argentina's talent. They have won two international tournaments in row and they aren't that talented? Come on that sounds like jealousy.
Lionel Scaloni is a sincere and up-front person who responded as he felt. The pressure must be tremendous and Argentina will be in transition as Messi looks to his retirement. The Scaloneta was an immense achievement for this boy from Rosario.

I am Croatian and I was, of course, sad to see us lose to Argentina in the semi finals, but if I could pick someone other than Croatia to win it all, I would say Messi without a doubt. He deserved to win it in 2014 as well, but back then, the rest of the team was way worse. Messi is the greatest player there ever will be and I love him to death.
