it might be better to wait for January
While Wolves need to make a sale of a key player at this stage of the transfer window due to their ffp problems , making a profit on Nunes may prove too good to turn down if it would allow O'Neil the necessary funds to make his own signings. Having signed for an initial fee of £38m with £5m in add one which haven't yet been met!
Wolves, who have lost to both United and Brighton & Hove Albion, are currently heavily hindered by FFP and ideally need to sign at least one new central defender before the September 1 deadline as a bare minimum.
When Wolves signed Nunes, the general consensus was that a deal had been struck with the acceptance that the player would eventually sign for a bigger club, Liverpool having been linked with him in both January and earlier this summer.

Option, get Conor Gallager on a loan move who can play as a #6 & #8. He's epl tested and proven. This move give us enough time to create a viable shortlist of midfielders for next season.

I want Nunes if I had to choose between him and Eze because he has Champions League experience he’s more of a natural midfielder than Eze and it makes sense because we were also linked with him before he joined wovles from sporting

Why not get both? They play different roles. Eze is an attacking midfielder while nunes is more of a holding midfielder that can play in that kova or rodri role. I say go get both
I'm in Australia and not close to all the goings on at City. Can someone please explain to me why City allowed Romeo Lavia to go for 2/5ths of f*ck all (and subsequently be sold for 50mil+) and we're now considering purchasing midfielders for 70m? At the least we've lost out on ￡30-40m or have been required to spend more money to sign a midfielder Liverpool didn't take. Am I missing something here?
Whoever plays more positions gets signed, Pep would rather have a Above average player in every area than someone who's a one trick pony, Haalands the only one he's signed who just plays one way even then he's Taught him link up play so even Haaland isn't a one trick anymore
