He's good but Alisson is on Par, Alisson's distribution is better and he's a much better shot stopper.
Manuel Neuer and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are better.
I'm a city fan 🎉🎉😊 it's not a bad thing to draw the opponent up the field,if you keep posetion… This is predictable though all the same. Ederson could punt the ball into the opposition's half of the pitch and we'd keep position off Errling the majority of the time..I miss it really , everybody piling into the other half for Knock downs to the other players…he needs somebody rolling a dice to randomise it more.. odd number play it to defenders, even numbers stonk it miles away from our goal. Reset and let's not be as predictable

The City back line and keeper gained the confidence by repeating that pattern of play, inspite of mistakes. I remember several complaints when Pep initially tried to get his team to play that way.
Other teams are at a different time in their development cycle. This is why coaches prefer players that play with a bit of bravery, rather than revert to type when the game state gets a bit hairy.

And the best with his hands is clearly Allison which after all that’s a goal keepers MAIN job ….
Vicario is Up there. People said he is good shoot stopper but his main quality is his abilities to play out from back.
Ederson isn’t the blueprint for GK. He’s just a rare GK who’s play style matches up with the manager’s.
Other teams should just find players who match their play style especially the GK. Not all GK’s need to be good with the ball just be a GK and hold down the line without letting any goals past.

Ederson is good with his feet but average at everything else. That’s fine because City are rarely being dominated by someone and need to rely on him. Alisson is good with his feet but he’s also excellent at actually being a goalkeeper. The best 1v1 keeper I’ve ever seen in my life, oozes calm and genuinely no other keeper could do what he does for us.
Allisson is far far better than ederson

Yeah Ederson is best in the PL but Ter Stegen is definitely the best in the world, Pinging passes with both foot.
No keeper can match passes like ederson
Wat I find funny is they keep saying he the best with his feet..he is the best all round goalie and has been for seasons..his shot stopping has always been of a high level..
