      History has been repeating itself for Darwin Nunez at Liverpool. In his debut season at Benfica he struggled to score goals and perform, in his second season at the club, he had a 30+ goal season, his goalscoring and impressive performances in the champions league and Portuguese league earned him a big money move to Liverpool and many people felt like his first season at the club, he flopped and he wasn't terrible, he showed us flashes of glimpses but he was raw he missed too many chances in front of goal, he still had decent output and now this season has has been excelling at Liverpool with 8 goals and a couple of assists and he has formed a formidable partnership with Mohamed Salah in attack. He has to 100% be consistent and even though he's still wasteful in front of goal, Darwin Nunez is capable of having a 20-25+ goal season and attacking players have thrived under Jurgen Klopp and he has settled at the club for sure and he'll produce more brilliant moments as the season progresses.

      Darwin Nunez is a lot better than you think he is. People see him as overrated a player who likes to miss open goals an average player, but if you watch this Liverpool team week in week out you see the qualities that he possesses he's very strong quick lively dangerous has incredible movements and as a young striker it's difficult yet he masters that skill so well and he has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world and while he's capable of scoring goals, he has to be more clinical with his finishing otherwise he'll continue to divide opinion. Liverpool's attack has so much competition right now, Luis Diaz Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo, we know that Mohamed Salah is undroppable and on current form Darwin Nunez is in their best team right now and I feel like his Newcastle performance where he came off the bench to score 2 goals in a couple of minutes under difficult circumstances that was the moment that kickstarted his Liverpool career because prior to that he was inconsistent misfiring etc, and since that game where he scored some critical goals in a game where they fell behind, down to 10 men and could've lost that game had Newcastle finished their chances, he has gone from strength to strength playing amazing football right now when he's playing with confidence, he's unstoppable.

      This season alone for club and country, Darwin Nunez has 10 goals and 4 assists his goals and assists per minutes is amazing and for the Uruguay national team, they have officially moved on from 2 of the greatest strikers of their current generation in Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani and it's clear to see how much faith Marcelo Bielsa has in Darwin Nunez's ability and knows he's very special and when he converts his chances at a better rate his goalscoring numbers will boost even further, and Uruguay in their last 2 games have beaten Brazil and Argentina with a score line of 2-0 and Nunez scored in both of those games showcasing his ability to step up in big games. I think people need to start putting more respect on his name, he isn't the finished article yet it's clear to see how much his managers value him for club and country and Darwin Nunez has the potential to get better and better, he has a very high ceiling that he can reach.
