I remember En-Nesyri winning every single header against us in the first leg against seville, so I'm all for signing him!
in for dwight mcneill according to some reports, now he would be a good signing, only 1 assist last season but we can all see his quality and he was playing for a terrible burnley side
as moyes of a winger as you can get, considering his poor season and burnleys relegation we might be able to get him for a decent fee, personally i'd love to see him at west ham, think he'll really shine under moyes

En-Nesyri had injuries and covid last season. He's probably closer to the player he was the prior season when healthy. Players say they are settled at a club all the time. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. He just didnt want to leave Seville and its understandable. If he's up for coming now I see no reason not to take him at a cut price of around 28 million

Much rather see two players than just JWP. Whilst he would be a great addition, unless we are selling Soucek or changing formation completely then I don’t see the benefit vs cost.
He played okay against us in the Europa. My only concern was his finishing. But if there was one player last season who gave both Zouma and Dawson a torrid time in the air it was En-Nesyri. And those 2 aren’t exactly crap in the air.
I would personally go for someone with more Premier League experience. As we can’t afford to take too many gambles with a small(ish) budget a squad that is thin in key areas.
In Moyes I trust, if Moyes wants him I want him.
This is the first striker rumour that has actually excited me. I know he was settled before but after a poor season with Sevilla and a couple of good ones for us, suddenly moving the family doesn't seem such a big thing.

Hey Gonzo great content as always, although on this occasion I am going to politely disagree with you.
The feeling I have is that because of last season’s poor return from El Nesyri Sevilla as a club are not convinced themselves, so despite the player being settled and not wanting to leave, perhaps his options around staying have become less sure? This would be reflected in the asking price.
Admittedly his goals and assist return last year were poor, but he’s still only 25. Of course the season before he banged in 23 La Liga goals, so he’s clearly capable. Personally I think I would pursue him if I were Moyes (as long as his character stands up), for a fair price. Plus settling in to West Ham would be smoother given the Aguerd signing, Moroccan ‘brothers’ together…ACN might be troublesome though!
He was really doing well last year … strong fast and probably the best striker in the aeral with a jump of 2.89m but after his injury he seems that he can't get fit again
I think Youssef is a wordclass striker, he was not so good this season but he can explose in PL.
The only good thing about En-Nesyri it's his headers, he's a power header, and he mostly scores in the air easily with no issues. That's what makes him stronger, if you cross him good and you got that strong chemistry with him, you most likely gonna see a goal there, unless it's a world-class keeper who saves everything, but when it comes to finishing dribbling he's not the best, he's just between normal and decent.
The last thing we need is another personal reasons walk out like Payet. If his home is elsewhere he aint going to want to come without probably regretting it and will either do leave or do an Haller and not have the right attitude to want to win for us.
