      Your getting an incredible player, as a belgian he is such a great player on the ball, and will win it back, he is all over the field and can have a screamer when needed, extremely athletic, and his long shots are ridiculous, and his playmaking ability, strings a midfield together perfectly

      Here is my story with axel. When I was last day at travel in Germany I was in Düsseldorf airport. The Airline that I was took is Air China( Im sure he was going to back to his club). I went to the gate but I saw Axel at the business class line. I walked to him and asked him to take a picture with him. He said "sure". That's all😅 I said thank you and he answered ur welcome. but the thing is I will go to Dortmund this September for university and he will come to BVB!! Now I will buy bvb season ticket and show him the picture💛🖤💛🖤

      Every coach in the world would like Witsel.
      He Will never lose the ball, keeps position perfect & reads the game.
      Could have ended up with Madrid, later Juve but he followed a different path.

      Great vid. Witsel has been my favorite player since he started with standard de Liège. He can do anything on a pitch. In the Belgian national team he is used as a defensive midfielder (6), as an insurance against all risks: he never loses the ball, is always in position, recuperates and cleans a ridiculous amount of situations. The most beautiful point is that he is totally devoted to the collective. Nothing spectacular but bloody useful. The trainer replaced him for one match some months ago, and everybody saw how much this guy is important for the team balance. However, in absolute terms he is more of an 8, as he also very accurate in passes and skilled technically. Once again, not so spectacular but damn effective. A fantastic player you get there in Dortmund ! Good luck Axel.
