    When Shakib Al Hasan came out to bat, there was a big drama on the field. Angelo Mathews said something to Shakib, creating a tense atmosphere during the first innings of the match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. During this innings, when Shakib appealed for Mathews to be timed out, it created a unique atmosphere on the field. In the second innings, when Shakib Al Hasan came to bat during Bangladesh’s batting, Angelo Mathews vented all his frustrations on Shakib and started pressuring him. However, Shakib had been forced to appeal for the timed out decision. Afterward, Captain Shakib requested the umpire to consider the wicket. The umpire repeatedly asked Shakib whether he genuinely wanted to appeal for the wicket, as Shakib was smiling during the appeal. However, the Bangladesh captain did not withdraw his appeal, and the umpires had to follow the rules and declare Angelo Mathews out. Do you think the mistake here is with Shakib Al Hasan or Shanto?       To all those mentioning about rules, please note rules and ethics are two different things. Its not against the rules but its dirty play. Same like mankad as it's a rule but most cricketers don't do it because its unethical and they won't ever do this even in response to a mankad because it's dirty game. They don’t go to the same low level. Hope you guys understand what I mean to say.

      Also Shakib needs to know that it wasn't like it was a do or die match to qualify so his call was totally dirty and against the spirit of the game. He could have warn the player but he waited which is so disgusting on part of an international player. But to each their own.
