Should Man Utd sign Cody Gakpo? 🤔
I never understood what a wide target man was until Gakpo
Cody Glokpo
All i know is if he comes and actually turns out (shocker) that hes better of the left then someone is getting shipped the following summer and i think we all know who that is
ETH is pushing for him. The club needs to back their man.
He is no different from martial and rashford again he will flop in epl
bro soon as you said he reminds u of henry i was excited man henry was one of the best strikers prem has ever seen imo hope we sign gapko bro
I hope he's not going to be Cody Flopko if he joins ManU
He should be gotten ASAP. He could play any position up front but like Dave said CF is probably best for him.
United are going to end up paying £150m for anthony and gakpo, both pretty average talents.
He a great player
🙂 let's get this boy in
IMO, He will play at left wing. He is much better at winger position compare to Rashford or Sancho. He can dribble, cross with both feet, and long-distance shooting from outside of box, but these abilities are more suitable for winger.
Gakpo and Antony will be Utd`s next winger Duo.
Whenever i hear second Striker in a chat about united all the nostalgia returns 😂
hey @statmandaveclips as per 12:30 , I think bruno loses a lot of possession when played deep which can cost counter attacks , I think its a bad idea . we need a midfielder who can play defensive and supplying role player next summer . thoughts ??
I worry that Gakpo is too similar to Rashford and by that I mean covers the same areas of the field. I would think an actual more traditional striker as opposed to a converted striker is what United need, and you damn well know another RW isnt needed
Kind of feels Gakpo is inevitable for United now, think he would be a great signing, coached by Ruud V N too, also a great price for a change, .. Really like this young man.. snap him up..
Totally trust ETH for this one after all the spot on picks he had.
Man U is a grave of careers. Has been for the last 8 years…bet thing he can do is to avoid the club
He is ok for teams like Sunderland, etc. Not for top teams.
In important games he is invisible
No time to waste bargaining anymore. Or else LFC, CFC, AFC, MCFC or NUFC might pounce on any delays. Try ‘Pre-contract Agreement.’
ETH has the potential with the players at his disposal (Along with Gakpo if he was to get him) To create positionless football across the top 3.
If you play Gakpo, Sancho and Antony, they can all switch to either wing or up top. Same with Rashford. Martial can play out left and up top. Elanga can do the same. Garnacho can play on either wing.
Gakpo is the exact forward United need. Turn of pace, silky smooth, great touch and is lethal scorer with both feet.
Think he would work well with Rashford, rotating positions keeping defenders guessing
Gakpo drifting to the left, Rashford drifting into the center from the left, Bruno running in to the far post, Antony staying wide right. Perfect 👌
Well now, who will hold the ball up the pitch? I’ve watched the Netherlands play this world cup and I’m yet to see Gakpo holding the ball up and leading the attack forward and dominate play. His goals are mostly long shots, very similar to Rashford’s. Someone like Vlahovic, who plays a bit similar to how Martial plays, will be a better fit if we are planning to dominate play.
