      £40m is too much for somebody who doesn’t really want to come to the club. I can’t believe that any manager only has one target to fill a striker position. It’s a big risk he might get homesick and if it works out and he’s great then he’s going to go somewhere else in a year. Look elsewhere for that amount of money.

      I just watched Maxi G highlights and he’s a white Carlton C or a fit Andy C.

      His first touch slows the ball down a bit to give him a chance with the second touch.. his 3rd touch usually does the job 👍

      Good in the air like Andy C .. lots of headed goals so we can still lump it forward from distance 👍

      He’s a bit one paced like Carlton so it’ll be easy for him to slot right into the team 👍

      TBH, I don’t know why the #6 has not been retired, you ask any random stranger off the street, especially here in the States, to name top 10 of the best football players in history, the would probably answer in this order, 1.Pele.2.Beckham 3. Dempsey 4.Maradonna 5.Messi 6.Moore 7. Rooney, 8. Llalas 9.Ronaldo. 10. Hernandez

      I’ve gotta admit, I’m gettin into the Bundesliga, and imho, Deutschland is we’re we should be looking.

      I did a report on Bobby Moore in 3rd grade (not sure what the exact English equivalent of 3rd grade, usually 8, going on 9 year old…. “level 3 at Primer school?” Damn, having been such the Anglophile, I’d know that) 😆 cos I was football mad, and already a big English rock fan.

      Anyways, you guys are a perfect team, and all the lads from HC work really hard, it was suggested I start one up out of Philly here in the States, but I wouldn’t know where to start, trying to hold down panting/deco contracts and start a new rock band (then he stopped responding to me!)

      Seriously, it probably takes a lot of extra move on during your day gigs to have the time and energy to bring your knowledge, thoughts, and opinions about West Ham United to us, and first but first and foremost, there’s some flavor to the shows and discussion other than sport, such as entertainment topics come up in proper situations, shows the banter is sincere, and I’ve been watching since the beginning, (I think, you guys probably have the date I subscribed, but have tried the “forum”, revived a response, then I lost connection)!

      Well, I’ll let you go, and I salute you and others like WHFTV, American Hammers and Irons United to make sure fans, no matter they were born in Barking or Bangladesh all West Ham fans, need to stick together, no matter how it happed, it’s a special club, and it’s us against the league and the FA! 😏

      Great Vid!!!Sullivan just can’t keep his Fat Greedy Sausage Fingers out of our transfer deals no matter how bad he makes the situation.Sully is not respected within club owner circles,I’m pretty sure Sully is watching Hurilos & genuinely believes he could do the same negotiation thing!

      Do you guys think signing Belotti is a good idea? Personally I would prefer to steer clear of Serie A as there are very few success stories over the years in the Premier League particularly with attackers. Would you believe there are only 8 Italians currently in the Premier League and only 1 Okaka is a striker, and he doesn't play regularly. I just see the leagues as being so vastly different that it very rarely works out. Yes there are examples of players coming from Serie A and doing well but most are foreign players, Italians themselves struggle which is probably due to being schooled in that style of football. I think Belotti would be a massive waste of money and I don't see it happening.

      If we were after Haller or Weghorst i’d understand the fuss. But Gomez? Some are talking like he’s a world class striker. He definitely ain’t. If we didn’t sign him I can honestly say I wouldn’t be the slightest bit bothered.

      If Pellegrini is set on playing a lone striker in front of an attacking three, or a front three with Anderson and Yarmalenko either side of a striker, then Gómez looks ideal. Physical in the box, strong in the air and can hold the ball up – means he can give time to the likes of Anderson, Yarmalenko and Fornals to join in attacks. Can also profit from Fredericks and Masuaku's pace and width.

      Belotti wouldn’t come to us, I’d love to have him personally(although I’m biased due to my Napoletano blood), I just don’t see it happening.

      Silva? Doubtful.

      I’m tired of this striker search already if I’m honest.
      I can see us ending up with a rapidly ageing Rondon, and Hugil on the bench.

      The only player we should look at from Fulham is Mitrović.

      Seri was a passenger at Fulham, and he’ll do the same for us. I’d rather see Snoddy deployed in the middle of the park, at least he’s got some fucking grit.
      Obligation to buy? Absolutely not.

      We were supposed to sign gomez alongside arnie. Surely the 22.5m should be an adequate replacement.

      I like rondon but he is a cut below arnie and I think that would be a backward step.

      If we used that approach who would you sign for £22.5m?
