  1. There’s so many people missing it’s acc unreal, not sure if Southgate has dementia or something. Raheem Sterling? Anthony Gordon? James Ward-Prowse? Cole Palmer? So many people.

  2. I’d have Sterling in the squad for sure. But this is what it is with England. There’s always going to be people left out that we feel should be in

  3. Southgate, ruining yet another golden generation. We really need people that really know football selecting our international manager, not know-nothing suits…

  4. He said Ramsdale needs game time, but maguire didn't need any minutes. Henderson played a league game to a crowd of 900 people last week, that's not top level football, somehow he's still included

  5. If Southgate wins the Euros, 'fans' will still moan it wasnt 7 nil with 3 overhead kicks and several flicks and backheals.
    Support your national team.

  6. I wont judge till next summer but Southgate is fraud with Bellingham, Kane ,Saka and Maddison taking their level up a notch anything besides a euro win will be a disaster and why the hell does he keep selecting washed players when there are guys on top of their game in the epl

  7. On club form surely Sterling gets in ahead of Rashford. On international pedigree, he's surely ahead of Bowen?

Going further, what does JWP have to do? On set pieces alone I'd play him – at international level with organised defences and less in sync attacks, set pieces are even more important. In possession he does more than Phillips (who isn't even played whilst Rodri is out) and in and out of possession is at least as good as Henderson (and unlike him is still playing proper football).

  8. Never fail to be impressed with this chap and the sensible way he talks about England and football in general. We are tremendously lucky to have him as Manager.
