      Please stop saying "US Men's National Team" unless you also say "England Men's National Team" etc. Just say "US" or "USA". We know you're talking about Men (not girls), a Team (not an individual) and that the team you are talking about represents the Nation and not just the state of Arkansas.

      This is exactly why jumping on the euphoria train, acting like the main goal was JUST to get out of the group, and giving Berhalter credit for things he doesn't deserve is… NOT SMART. We should be LONG past the era of considering it a major accomplishment to make it out of the first round. But we're not. We should be past the point of having a head coach for the national team that hurts the team's chances of winning. But we're not. The AMAZING BS I have read and heard trying to give Berhalter credit since the Iran win is flabbergasting and MORONIC. Not playing Gio Reyna is a MAJOR thing, and demonstrates clearly how amazingly irresponsible, arrogant, egotistical, and STUPID Berhalter is. He's actually put fairly good lineups together. OK… SO WHAT???!!! He's supposed to… CONSISTENTLY. He doesn't do that consistently, and he has STILL made horrible decisions, made horrible subs, and made subs way too late in games. Berhalter literally hurts the team's chances of winning in EVERY MATCH… EVERY MATCH. You CANNOT have that. Having the team barely hanging on for a LONG TIME at the end of the Iran match, and putting in players like Shaq Moore is indefensible. Gio just has to sit there and watch that horror show. There's Pulisic and Gio… THOSE ARE THE TWO BEST AMERICAN PLAYERS IN THE WORLD. PERIOD. IT'S THE WORLD CUP. Berhalter doesn't play one of them for no other reason than his own ego and stupidity. NO OTHER REASON. How anyone in the USSF can be so mentally retarded to even think of extending this IDIOT'S contract to the 2026 cycle should be one of the biggest scandals in world football. ANYONE trying to defend Berhalter at this point is simply a pathetic, immature, MORON.

      Berhalter is jealous his son Seb isn't as good as his former teammates son. I swear to God if we see Seb on the us national team ever I'm boycotting, can't have another Michael Bradley

      Why should he celebrate after being frozen out, and told to lie he was injured by the coach. For that matter, the Iranian fans in Qatar did not cheer on their team, and those in their home country ran around Iran with American flags in protest, and the Iranian player themselves were less than enthusiastic about Iran. So even the losers did not care about the loss, a nothing game.

      Imagine a world where you can be one of the most talented youngsters in the world but can have all this attention pointed at you because your dissapointed in not being able to contribute.

      There's also numerous other factors that could be at play here, but I don't think this is as black and white as people suggest. Hopefully Gio is OK and plays a part against the Dutch.

      I know we Americans all become soccer experts every 4 years, but when he is healthy he is the only guy we have that has the ability to make goals happen practically all by himself. Not saying he's our best player, but he has that one on one "IT factor" which can lead to magic. We obviously need that. The fact that he only has 7 minutes and we only have 2 goals has to be correlated.
