There are better players. How many players are benched world wide? 😳🥴🤡 Stop the “because he is a U.S. player he deserves to play” stigma
Oh come on, over the last two years, Reyna scored 7 goals and contributed 4 assists while playing for Dortmund (34 games). Respectable stats. But Dortmund has Sabitzer, Nmecha, Reus and Brandt in that position. There are also Adeyemi, Malen and Bynoe Gittens on the wings. Reyna is just not good enough to start in that Dortmund team. So stop saying it is the coach who doesn’t trust him. The other players are just better at the moment. So stop trying to defend a player just because he is american, without having any arguments.
He's 20 ffs. He'll find his place… at Dortmund or elsewhere. But it is weird.
Terzic is a weird guy, and he gets stubborn. Maybe he's changing tactics when Gio is on or it's something else, but Dortmund stop playing defense when he comes on like… every time since Terzic became coach. And it's not Gio being lazy or not tracking back. I've watched him do his defensive job just fine. But something happens because their defense seems to just stop. It was pretty damn irritating watching them throw 3 points that Gio just got them away like that… more than once.
