Manchester City OFFICIALLY Sign Matheus Nunes!
This is your latest Man City news and transfer news.
A good bit of business for Man City, signing Matheus Nunes from Wolves for a reported fee of £53m. There’s more to this Nunes deal that meets the eye though, with Tommy Doyle heading to Wolves for €5m and City including a 50% sell-on clause.
Additionally, Wolves look close to completing to signing of Santiago Beuno, of CFG owned Girona FC.
Have City sweetened the deal for Wolves by including Doyle and Beuno of Girona?

This is a good channel. You should hit up other Youtubers and do collabs to get more exposure and increase the profile of the channel.
Good stuff Jonny, think he could be a great signing for us.
I’m looking forward to the game tomorrow and hoping to see doku get a few minutes as never seen him live.
Ps
Did he actually go on strike ? You know how these press wankers are when it comes to city 🩵
Nunes & Nunez 😂😂😂..counter attacking strategy from pep
He went on strike and got his move just like mahrez did. Mahrez proceeded to have a great career with city and I'm sure you weren't complaining about the fact that he went on strike to get here while he was banging in goals for city. So who cares, we wanted nunes and he wanted the move. Wolves needed the money and they got it so it all worked out in the end. No need to mention the strike thing ever again. It's done, he's a city player now so get behind him and move on.
Going on strike is the best thing to do from the players perspective.
As you said, Matheus Nunes would be unaware of the business side of things behind closed doors. This wouldn't be public information or information disclosed to the player or his agent (probably cause of what happened with Gvardiol and that the transfer was 'leaked' before Leipzig wanted).
So what is he supposed to? Sit back and hope the deal goes through? Would be different if the talks were happening at the start of the window but when the rumours were popping up, the window was already approaching the deadline.
And one of the players which was a transfer target (Paqueta) has fallen though which would be concerning for Nunes.
It would also be different if Pep or members of the City team spoke directly to Nunes or his agent ensuring that the transfer would happen.
A player can't just let the club handle the future of their career and should do everything in their power to do their best for their future.
If you were in their shoes, how would you feel if the transfer you wanted didn't happen and you didn't try your best to make it happen? You just let City/Wolves handle it, putting your career in the hands of others.
Fans should let the club handle these things as it doesn't affect their lives and future directly. These transfers do affect the players lives and careers directly and so they should have a more hands on approach.
Along with the option to rest Rodri we also now have the option to let Rodri play further forward occasionally and bang those goals in from the edge of the area like he likes to do.
It's not a panic buy, we already know Pep was a fan of Nunes before he went to Wolves.
Hi Johnny, this Wolves /Gerona/Tommy Doyle transfer saga as FFP/ premier league investigation written all over it, Is it all legit ? Or will we be in trouble further down the line.
He didn’t go on strike. The Wolves management advised him to stay away during the time of his wanting to move.
It's shear business brilliance from city. The window has to be a 8.5/9 out of ten. Using the CFG is class. We got touted by media at the start of the window to through 300m around but not this club. Savy smart deals and it's helped the squad with a decent freshen up
Finally Rodri can get some rest, I'm happy for him really I was worried this Guy might collapse anytime due to the amount of matches he's playing, hopefully the new signings can keep up to our standards
Great to have some quality cover for Rodri.
U r def better than the City bearded 🧔🏻♂️ dude, the steamy 🧖♀️ 1
He was a bit 2 sentimental about City sellin the Academy despite the Profits
Plus he’s kinda annoying too❕🙄😆
Has he not gone on strike he would still be a wolve's player .
The Paqueta deal isnt dead i hear, if it isnt happening for phillips by january and paqueta clears any charges, he could also be involved in the deal
In negotiations you have to give them a little to get what you want. City gave them potential would be stars and that’s what the wolves level is because they just don’t have a front office who’s going after high priced players. quite frankly, and the financial backing. However, MC their business fairly. They got their man with more give and take than usual. With the advent of higher prices brought on by the Saudi‘s league, MC had to find a different strategies to put the transfer in a price range that’s more palatable, but we don’t know whether Nunez spoke to the club and was totally turned down for his verbal request, and that’s why he took matters into his own hands, and the subsequent actions. Don’t forget where he from, Rio de Janeiro. Father left him or the family if he was young and he has a street mentality. Maybe the Wolves should’ve sued them for breach of contract, it may be that would’ve made him take notice of man’s laws. We don’t know whether the front office thought about that. You have to weight the consequences, if you down that path to solve your problem.
He may not have handled the exit in a professional way I agree however I think he didn’t want things to end up like they way they did with Paqueta 😢
I mean Wolves were kind of reluctant to sell him and getting the chance to sign for a Big team is something that doesn’t come quite often
Also there was little time left in the window so I also think that kind of pressured him to do what he did
But I think we should hope for the best and not to think that he’ll do the same to us
Otherwise I’m interested in this rebuild or rejuvenation if I’m using the right words to this current City team
He may have felt the pressure strike because time was running out. Maybe Wolves would have kept him, if he'd not gone on strike.
I get your point tho. 💙
