  1. It's a strange world when you watch the Rugby world cup and their TMO guys/referee/linesmen work in unison like a well oiled machine absolutely nailing the correct decision making time after time. Then you watch a premier league football match involving Wolves and other teams in fairness, and you see the most inconsistent, incompetent, blind to the obvious decision making week after week. You have to ask yourself what is going on in the premier league when these rather sinister acts are carried out week after week, and are apparently supported by those in power.

  2. Even as a Newcastle fan, it wasn't a pen. I can understand why the ref gave it, I was screaming for it at the time. But having seen ONE replay, I can see 100% it wasn't. I'm not slating the ref, he made a call, he got it wrong with mitigating circumstances, however, what is the point of VAR??

  3. Wolves yet again been robbed by var, no way was that a penalty there was no contact, they’ve had bad decisions go against them with Man Utd away where they should of had a penalty and against luton where it wasn’t a handball as it hit another part of the players body first. Absolutely ridiculous, these officials and var never learn! Absolutely scandalous it is!

  4. Don't support either club but whilst i do think the penalty decision was 'soft' , and the player was looking for it, i can see why it was given ….

  5. What a great throw back match, every player gave it their all. And in the end perhaps a draw was the right result because they had all put everything into it.

  6. The premier League needs to get rid of var – not because var is bad or broken but because the refs in our league are too fucking thick in the skull to know how to use it properly
