The sad thing about being the goalkeeper is that only one can play. In fact the goalkeeper position is so specialised typically most teams have had a no.1 gk for many years like De Gea, Buffon & Casillas of Man Utd, Juventus & Real Madrid respectively

You can't think of a time where the same thing hasn't happened… Mate that's everywhere, you just left out the words "who is at the same club."
Raya has been riding a massive wave of luck. His errors could have easily cost us the last three results. But because he got lucky with each of those, people are acting like they’re just “a few mistakes.”
The same mistakes Raya has made are the same mistakes Ramsdale had made. Do people have such short term memories… Not siding with either keeper, just pointing this out.

I personally prefer Ramsdale as an Arsenal fan but Mikel probably can see something I can't.
I've never been overly critical of Arsenal but I was fairly critical when we signed Ben White… Look how that turned out.
I think there's more than we can see going on and we'll see it resolve with a decent conclusion either way.
Statistically, Raya is better than Ramsdale except PSxG rating. Emotionally, Ramsdale is better than Raya. Personally I would like to see more rotation in every positions during cup games.
Brentford did fucked up. We offered 30 for him for a permanent move, they're now probably getting nothing. And now we have a hidden gem who turned out to be better.
