Eriksen is a good player but he can't play the full game. Good off the bench for 45 min.
I think we need to get Eriksen back in the team for now because of control he brings. Others are out of form and being erratic in possession so he will be vital if we want to get out of this faze of trouble
Antony needs to be benched and Rashy on RW , Garna on LW just because Antony isn't doing well at all

Eriksen was good with his passes and things he could do. But also just like you said he had help, something Amrabat lacked in the first half, and I’m not sure why Eth decides to remove Amrabat while Mctominay is on the pitch.
I think we can see what ten hag is trying to do in this game by looking at what the team is failing to do in the first half. in essence, hes trying to play like city, in that hes trying to throw as many midfielders forward as possible. hes playing with 1 deep midfielder, and two creative/10s (where mount comes in) and then 1 pivot. unlike city however, when we do this we push the fullbacks really high to create width and allow for direct attack to the new target man. Then we can have onana advance create a back 3 that can carry the ball into the midfield, support the pivot or skip the midfield entirely for quick transitions. Problem is, we dont have a pivot good enough and we dont have ball playing cbs good enough. Doesn't help our attacks are out of form as well.

What I don't get is why he took Amrabat off instead of Mctominay. Especially since he moved Mctominay to DM. Surely Amrabat-Eriksen would have been even better

And that makes me feel furious that why Ten Hag bloody singed Mason Mount when he could have signed a proper ball carrier Midfielder.
Mason Mount is just the Lite version of Bruno Fernandes and Ten Hag clearly can't Bench Bruno Fernandes anyway.
Mjebri, Mctominay and Erikson could've played as number 10 already.
This 3-1-6 formation Erik is trying is whack without Martinez cos it depends on ball progression from the CB's and DM. We need to return to basic and stop leaving the dm isolated
We don’t know if Mount can do the job Eriksen does, when you’re saying either him or Mount.
Mount has played in a midfield three of him, Casemiro and Bruno and it didn’t work, but that could off course be because of wrong tactics from Ten Hag.
We failed big time in replacing eriksen with mount. We needed a younger version of eriksen but mount offers nothing. Eriksen changes everything when he is on field. He dominated the midfield right from the first minute. We needed de jong and don't know why ten hag signed mount.
Also City is going to rip us apart😫😫 I’m honestly not looking forward to that game. United sucks big time at the moment.
Again EtH has allowed this problem to occur cos he passive transfer window should have persue the recruit the alternative to DeJong of Gravenberch the obvious choice otherwise give Mainoo a chance & use Eriksen as an impact sub instead of Mount, Bruno's replacement!
Alternatively offer Mount to Liverpool for Gravenberch in January!
We have Mainoo as a 2nd phase midfielder. Amrabat and Mainoo in the middle are must this season. And we will see that soon as well.

Ten Hag signed the wrong profile of player in the midfield. The profile needed was some one with Erikson's passing ability and vision with a little bit of defensive attributes. Instead he went for Mount. That profile is a player like Pogba on his good day. Our games can't be controlled by Casemiro and Amrabat. Once Erikson's come on our offence changes. Martinez too has that vision and dares to make such passes it is easier in the build up when they are both on the pitch. They make better decisions than Bruno and all united players in terms of progressing the ball. Erickson will play better behind the striker in Bruno's position
